Purpose:To use eye acupuncture therapy to treat patients with essential hypertension with hepato-positive hyperactivity, observe the blood pressure level at different times before and after treatment, analyze its immediate and short-term antihypertensive effect and improvement of clinical symptoms, and provide a simple and effective treatment for hypertensive patients.Material and method:According to the criteria of arrangement, collected 60 patients with essential hypertension who hospitalized in the Department of Encephalopathy of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine in October 2021 to November2022.Divided 60 cases into a control group(30 cases, conventional treatment of Western medicine)and a observation group(30 cases, conventional treatment of Western medicine combined with eye acupuncture therapy),and the treatment was 7 days for 1 course of treatment.Compared the blood pressure levels of each time node immediately after the first treatment in the observation group,as well as the blood pressure values,Duchenne hypertension quality of life score and TCM symptom score improvement of the two groups before and after treatment,to evaluate the immediate effect and clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture in the treatment of essential hypertension with hepatic hyperactivity.Results:1.There were no obvious differences between two groups in age, gender, blood pressure,TCM symptom score, and Duchenne hypertension quality of life score before treatment(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.Immediate antihypertensive effect in the observation group: Compared the blood pressure values of the observation group before treatment with those after treatment for 10 min,30 min and 60 min.Respectively,in the observation group,it was found that the systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels in each time period after the first treatment induced obviously compared with before treatment, and the difference was obviously significant(P<0.05).3.Recent blood pressure improvement of two groups: Additionally, comparing the blood pressure values of two groups before treatment with 7 days after treatment, both groups effectively reduced blood pressure, which was significantly different from before treatment(P<0.05).As also, there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).4.TCM symptom scores: After a course of treatment, the TCM symptom scores in both groups reduced obviously.Compared the scores between two groups with obvious differences(P<0.05).In terms of the TCM symptom scores decrease in the observation group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).For the improvement of TCM symptom scores, the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Duchenne hypertension quality of life score: After a course of treatment, compared with the the previous group, the quality of life score of Duchenne hypertension in both groups increased obviously, with a significant difference(P<0.05).And between the two groups, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The eye has significant immediate antihypertensive effect on systolic and diastolic blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Both treatments can effectively control the short-term blood pressure level and reduce the uncomfortable symptoms of hypertensive patients, but eye acupuncture therapy is more obvious for the improvement of TCM symptoms in hypertensive patients.
