Objective:To understand the current status of acceptance of illness in patients with ischemic stroke, and analyze the relevant influencing factors of acceptance of illness in patients with ischemic stroke,so as to provide reference basis for improving patients’acceptance of illness after stroke. Methods:This study is a cross-sectional study.210 eligible patients with ischemic stroke in the Department of Encephalopathy of a Grade III Hospital in Shenyang were selected as subjects by convenience sampling during October 2021 to December 2022.The general data questionnaire,Barthel Index Rating Scale, cognitive emotional regulation questionnaire, mental resilience Scale,Social support Rating Scale, and acceptance of illness questionnaire were used to investigate the patients.Data were input and collated by Excel2010 and analyzed by SPSS25.0 statistical software, including descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test,variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis。Results:1.A total of 210 patients with ischemic stroke were included in this study, and their disease acceptance scores were all(20.24±4.49)points,90 patients(42.9%)had disease acceptance scores at low level(16.19±2.17)points,and 111 patients(52.9%)had disease acceptance scores at medium level(22.67±2.41)points.9 patients(4.2%)were at the high level(30.89±0.93).2.Univariate analysis showed that age, gender,Occupational status, complications, course of disease and self-care ability of patients had statistically significant differences on the scores of disease acceptance(p<0.05).3.Correlation analysis showed that the total score of disease acceptance in patients with ischemic stroke was positively correlated with the positive refocus dimension and rational analysis dimension of cognitive emotion regulation(r=0.445,0.327,p<0.01),and negatively correlated with the ruminative dimension(r=-0.314,p<0.01).The total score of disease acceptance was positively correlated with the total score of social support, objective support dimension and social support utilization dimension(r=0.480,0.328,0.346,p<0.01).The total score of disease acceptance was positively correlated with the total score of mental resilience and the dimensions of resilience,self-improvement and optimism(r=0.580,0.496,0.338,0.383,p<0.01).4.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender(β=-1.341,p=0.005),course of disease(β=0.664,p=0.001),ruminative dimension(β=-0.190,p=0.001),positive refocus dimension(β=0.231,p<0.001),rational analysis dimension(β=0.195,p=0.003),social support utilization dimension(β=0.304,p=0.009)and mental resilience dimension(β=0.119,p<0.001)entered the regression model, and the fitted equations were statistically significant(F=17.279,p<0.001).Adjusted R~2=0.539,the independent variable explained 53.9%of the variation in disease acceptance.Conclusion:1.In this study,95.8%of patients with ischemic stroke had a medium-low level of disease acceptance, which needed to be improved.2.In this study,The influencing factors of disease acceptance in patients with ischemic stroke include patient gender, course of disease, contemplative dimension in cognitive emotional regulation, positive refocus dimension, rational analysis dimension, social support utilization dimension in social support, and resilience dimension in mental resilience. This suggests that medical staff can formulate corresponding intervention programs according to the influencing factors of disease acceptance of patients with ischemic stroke to improve the level of disease acceptance of patients.
