In order to deepen the reform of the medical and health system and cultivate general practitioners,China has been conducting job transfer training for general practitioners since 2010.As of 2019,a total of 150000 general practitioners have been transferred and trained nationwide.Nanchong City has closely followed the pace of the country and started the job transfer training for general practitioners on time.As of now,more than 1500 Western medicine general practitioners with general practice qualifications have been trained,further expanding the team of Western medicine general practitioners.Currently,the training work is progressing in an orderly manner,but there are still some problems in ensuring the quality of training that need to be solved.In order to effectively solve the problems in training,the article conducted in-depth research on training work.Based on the theory of expected motivation,system theory,and human capital theory,research methods such as literature research,questionnaire surveys,interviews,and data statistics were used to analyze the current situation and relevant influencing factors of individual willingness to participate in training,focusing on the training participants,teachers,training bases,and health management departments,We have gained a detailed understanding of the current situation and existing problems in the transfer training of general practitioners in the Western medicine category in Nanchong City.Through in-depth analysis of the reasons,we have proposed solutions to the problems.This study indicates that in the face of current problems such as low participation of training students,insufficient professional ability and management of teachers,inadequate fulfillment of base responsibilities,and optimization of health management department management,measures can be taken to enhance students’ motivation to participate in training,strengthen the management and construction of teaching staff,strengthen the quality management of training base connotation,and improve the personnel matching and management mechanism of health management department.The research conclusion is of great significance for optimizing the training program for general practitioners in the Western medicine category in Nanchong City and promoting the improvement of training effectiveness.
