In order to deepen the medical system reform, establish and improve primary health care service system, strengthen the construction of primary health personnel to improve the general medical service capability and quality primary health care personnel, and thus the target of universally access to basic health care services will be achieved gradually. Chinese government gradually began to carry out the work of the general practitioner job-transfer training from the year 2010. We investigated the status of the general practitioner job-transfer training work from 2011 to 2014 of The First Hospital of Shijiazhuang.Via the methods of literature review, surveys and statistical analysis, our survey draw a total of four conclusions:First, the number of male students participating in general practitioner job-transfer training is significantly more than that of women students in primary health care units in Shijiazhuang City. The majority of the students are under 40 years old. The education level and the academic qualifications among the students are low. Those who undertake teaching work in the job-transfer training work, mainly aged between 30 and 40 years old, mostly educated as undergraduate and postgraduate, and generally have intermediate or higher professional titles. Secondly, most of the participants in the job-transfer training are highly enthusiasm, but the limitation of training results, accommodation conditions, family burden and the income reduction due to attending the training are the main factors restraining people from joining the job-transfer training. Through training, participants generally recognized that the training can make them improve their professional level, and increase their chance to communicate with their peers. The vast majority of participants are satisfied with the content and process of the training, and confirmed the training effectiveness. The lack of professional knowledge and the pressure from their family and institution are the main difficulty faced by our students in training. The increase of theoretical teaching and improvement of accommodation conditions are very desirable for the students. Again, our teaching staff generally considered their work are meaningful, and beneficial to communicate with the grassroots medical staff, therefore, they are willing to take the teaching tasks. But the daily work pressure is the main reason preventing people from undertaking some teaching work. Students’lack of professional knowledge, great pressure from work and students’lack of good learning attitude are the main difficulties faced with teaching staff in the training course. Most of the teaching staff are satisfied with the arrangements of the training content and process, and suggest the staff to strengthen the students’attendance management and the training of our teaching staff, at the same time, they also hope to increase the proportion of theoretical teaching in the training process, and improve students’ accommodation conditions. |
