| Objective:The goal of this research was to observe the clinical efficacy of Sheng Jin Li Yan Yin combined with Ti Hu Guan Ding Acupuncture in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis of deficiency fire type,explore the mechanism of action,and assess the validity and safety of this method.The aim is to provide clinical basis and standardized treatment plan for the clinical application of the combined therapy.Methods:All the subjects for observation were 70 patients with chronic pharyngitis of deficiency fire type in the outpatient department of the Department of otolaryngology Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December2022 were selected and grouped by using the random number table in statistical software SPSS25.0.The patients were randomly divided into two groups: control group(traditional Chinese medicine group)and treatment group(acupuncture and drug group).There were 35 patients in each group.The control group was given Yang Yin Qing Fei Tang(6g of Shengdihuang,9g of Maidong,9g of Xuanshen,3g of Shenggancao,3g of Bohe,5g of Beimu,5g of Danpi,5g of Chaobaishao)traditional Chinese medicine granules,one dose a day,twice a day,with 150 ml of boiled water for brewing,half an hour after meal warm swallow,take for 2 weeks.The treatment group was given Sheng Jin Li Yan Yin(10g of Nanshashen,10 g of Baihuasheshecao,10 g of Wumei,5g of Qingguo,6g of Bohe,10 g of Wuweizi,5g of Juluo,10 g of Quangualou)traditional Chinese medicine granules,and the administration method was the same as that of the control group.In the meantime,the treatment group was treated with Ti Hu Guan Ding Acupuncture.The acupuncture points were Lianquan,Tiantu,Zhongwan,Qihai,Dazhui,Baihui,Shanglianquan,Yan ’an No.1,Hegu.Acupuncture treatment was performed once every 2 days,3 times a week,and stopped for 1 day on Sunday,for a total of 2 weeks.The treatment duration of this research was 2 weeks,and the symptoms and signs of patients were registered and graded before treatment,7 days after treatment,14 days after treatment and 1 month after the end of treatment to evaluate the efficacy.Results: 1.Symptom and sign scores: After 7 days of treatment and14 days of treatment,symptom and sign scores and total symptom and sign scores of all patients decreased significantly compared with their previous values,indicating that the treatment methods of these two groups had a good improvement effect on each symptom and sign as well as the overall symptoms and signs.Analysis of the values after 7 days of treatment showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of 7-day improvement effect of the integral symptoms and signs.Analysis of values from 7 days of treatment to 14 days of treatment showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of improvement in lymphoid follicular hyperplasia and overall symptoms and signs.Analysis of the values after 14 days of treatment showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of improvement in dried pharynx,lymphatic follicular hyperplasia,and overall signs and symptoms.2.Clinical efficacy: The general effective rate of the two groups after 7 days of treatment was observed and compared,it can be seen that there is a small difference in clinical efficacy of the two groups of treatment methods.The total effective rate after 14 days of treatment was significantly different,showing that the clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and proved that the treatment group took effect more quickly.3.Recurrence situation: The symptoms and signs of patients in the two groups were observed and analyzed in the follow-up survey one month later,and it can be seen that the recurrence situation of patients in the two groups was not significantly different.4.Safety analysis: Mild adverse reactions occurred in both groups during treatment,with 1 case in the control group and 2 cases in the treatment group,respectively,which were all within Grade 2 in terms of safety evaluation criteria,so no other treatment was performed.The subjects’ heart rate,body temperature,respiratory rate,blood pressure,three routine procedures,liver and kidney function,electrocardiogram and other safety indicators before and after treatment did not change significantly,and all were in the normal range.Conclusions: 1.Yang Yin Qing Fei Tang and Sheng Jin Li Yan Yin combined with Ti Hu Guan Ding Acupuncture both can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms and signs of chronic pharyngitis of deficiency fire type,but the latter is superior to the former in terms of dried pharynx,lymphatic follicular hyperplasia,and overall signs and symptoms.2.Sheng Jin Li Yan Yin combined with Ti Hu Guan Ding Acupuncture is better than simply taking Yang Yin Qing Fei Tang in clinical efficacy,and the effect is faster;3.Sheng Jin Li Yan Yin combined with Ti Hu Guan Ding Acupuncture has low recurrence rate,mild adverse reactions and high safety;4.The combination of Sheng Jin Li Yan Yin combined with Ti Hu Guan Ding Acupuncture is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic therapy with internal and external treatment,treating both symptoms and root causes,combining local and overall treatment,demonstrating the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine and worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
