Clinical Observation Of Self-made Ziqian Decoction On The Treatment Of Blood Heat Syndrome Of Yin Deficiency With Prolongation Of Menstrual Period

Objective:This study focuses on the clinical study of menstrual disorders in Chinese gynaecology.In view of the increasing number of cases of prolonged menstruation,the main objective of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of the self-formulated formula Ziqian Decoction on prolonged menstruation(Yin deficiency and Blood heat),and to compare the improvement of menstrual period,menstrual volume,menstrual quality and Chinese medicine symptoms before and after treatment to verify the safety and efficacy of this treatment method.In order to investigate the clinical efficacy and mechanism of action of the self-formulated formula Ziqian Decoction on prolonged menstruation(Yin deficiency and Blood heat evidence).Methods:A randomized,parallel-controlled clinical trial was designed to compare the efficacy of the self-formulated formula Ziqian Decoction with that of Baogong Hemostatic Granules.(Composition:Ligustrum ligustrum,Moxiana lotus,sanguisorba carbon,Scutellaria scutellaria,Coax,Paeony,Angelica sinensis,Bupleurum,Ume plum,moxa charcoal),and in the control group,36 patients were given the Chinese medicine Bao Gong Hemostatic Granules.The duration of treatment was 3 months,with a follow-up of 3months.To observe the clinical efficacy and improvement of symptoms in patients with prolonged menstruation(Yin deficiency and Blood heat evidence)by the self-formulated formula Ziqian Decoction.Results:A total of 72 patients were collected.The treatment group(N = 36)was treated with Ziqian decoction,of which 2 cases could not take medicine continuously because of the epidemic situation,and 1 case quit because of refusing treatment halfway,the actual treatment group(N = 33)was completed,and the control group(N = 36)was completed,the patients were treated with Baogong zhixue granule,among them,2 cases were lost to follow-up,1 case quit because of unexpected pregnancy,2 cases could not continue to take medicine because of epidemic situation,31 cases were completed in the actual control group.After analysis of the clinical data collected,9 cases were cured,15 cases showed efficacy,5 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective in the treatment group(Selfdesigned Ziqian Decoction group),with an overall effective rate of 87.9%;5 cases were cured,9 cases showed efficacy,12 cases were effective and 5 cases were ineffective in the control group(Bao Gong Hemostatic Granules group),with an overall effective rate of83.8%.The overall effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.After statistical analysis,P<0.05,there was a difference between the two groups,which was statistically significant.Conclusion:By observing the clinical manifestations of the cases and the statistical results,this experiment concluded that the self-formulated formula Ziqian Granules with addition and subtraction was significantly effective in the treatment of prolonged menstruation(Yin deficiency and blood heat evidence),and there were no side effects and adverse reactions during the treatment process,which is safe and may open up a new idea for its clinical treatment and is worth promoting in clinical treatment.
