Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Lumbar Muscle Strain (Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type) With The Combination Therapy Of Round-Sharp Needles

Objective: This study objectively evaluated the effectiveness and treatment advantages of this method by observing the clinical efficacy of the treatment of lumbar muscle strain(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type)with round-sharp needle combined with conventional filiform needle,and provided a treatment method with significant efficacy,simple operation and more acceptable to patients.Methods: In this study,72 patients with lumbar muscle strain(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type)were randomly divided into two groups: round-sharp needle combined therapy group(round-sharp needle combined with conventional filiform needle)and conventional filiform needle group,with 36 patients in each group.The VAS score and ODI index were recorded before treatment,after treatment and 1 month follow-up,and the observed data were statistically analyzed with SPSS21.0.Results:1.There was no statistical significance in the basic data(gender,age,course of disease),VAS score and ODI index before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating clinical comparability.2.Comparison of VAS score after treatment and follow-up:(1)Intra group comparison:VAS score of the two groups after treatment decreased compared with before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.01).Compared with that after treatment,the follow-up VAS score in the round-sharp needles combined therapy group decreased significantly(P<0.05);The follow-up VAS score in the conventional filiform needle group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: After treatment and follow-up,VAS scores in the round-sharp needles combined therapy group were lower than those in the conventional filiform needle group,with a significant difference(P<0.01).3.Comparison of ODI index after treatment and follow-up:(1)Intra group comparison:The ODI index of the two groups decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.01).Compared with that after treatment,the follow-up ODI index of the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: After treatment and follow-up,the ODI index of the round-sharp needles combined therapy group was lower than that of the conventional filiform needle group,with a significant difference(P<0.01).4.Analysis of curative effect: The total effective rate of the round-needle combined therapy group was 91.43%,and that of the conventional filiform needle group was 85.29%.The curative effect of the two groups was statistically different(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the round-sharp needle combined therapy group was better than that of the conventional filiform needle group.Conclusion: The round-sharp needle combined therapy group and the conventional filiform needle group can effectively improve the pain and dysfunction of lumbar muscle strain(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type),and the long-term effect is relatively stable.Compared with the conventional filiform needle group,the therapeutic effect of the round-sharp needle combined therapy group is more significant,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
