ObjectiveThe study was mainly about a randomized controlled experiment.By comparing the VAS scale and the Constant-Murley scores before and after the treatment to explore the difference effect of the frozen shoulder between the round-sharp needle therapy and the conventional electroacupuncture therapy.By analyzing the effect of round-sharp needle in the treatment of the frozen shoulder,to find a more rapid and effective method for the clinical treatment of periarthritis of the shoulder.MethodsIn this study, patients with periarthritis who met the admission criteria were selected as research objects in the acupuncture clinic of Foshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.72 patients eligible for inclusion were selected and assigned to the treatment group and the control group 36 cases each with a randomized allocation method based on the order of visits. The treatment group was treated with round-sharp needle therapy after meridian examination, while the control group was treated with conventional electroacupuncture,The two groups were treated once every other day, three times a week for a course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment. The VAS scores and Constant-Murley shoulder function scores were used as observation indicators. The scores before treatment, after 1 course of treatment, and after 2 courses of treatment were compared, and statistical analysis was performed.ResultsDuring the experiment,3 cases fell off in the round-sharp needle group and 4 cases fell off in the electroacupuncture group. The actual number of cases finally included in the statistical analysis was 33 in the round-sharp needle group and 32 in the electroacupuncture group. There were no significant differences in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that the data in the two groups were comparable. After 1 course of treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the Constant-Murley scores were higher than before(P<0.05);After 2 courses of treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those of the 1 course, and the Constant-Murley scores were also higher than before(P<0.05);The VAS of the round-sharp needle group after 1 course and 2 courses were lower than those of the electroacupuncture group at the same stage, and the Constant-Murley score was higher than that of the electroacupuncture group at the same stage(P<0.05);After completing two courses of treatment,18 cases in the round-sharp needle group were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,2 cases were effective, and 0 case was ineffective. And the total effective rate was 100%;In the conventional electroacupuncture group,11 cases were cured,11 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 93.75%.The data were analyzed by rank sum test, and the curative effect of the round-sharp needle group was significantly better than that of the electroacupuncture group(P<0.05).ConclusionThe results show that both treatments can reduce pain and improve shoulder function in patients with periarthritis;Round-sharp needle therapy is significantly better than conventional electroacupuncture in reducing pain and improving shoulder function, and round-sharp needle therapy can effectively shorten the course of treatment. The final effect of round-sharp needle therapy in treating periarthritis of shoulder is better than conventional electroacupuncture, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
