Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Cervicogenic Headache With Round Sharp Needle Combined Therapy

Objective: The main purpose of this clinical trial is to observe the clinical efficacy of combined therapy with round sharp needle in the treatment of cervical headache.To compare the curative effect difference between the round and sharp needle combined therapy group and the conventional acupuncture group in the treatment of cervical headache,verify the effectiveness of the round and sharp needle combined therapy in the treatment of cervical headache,provide an objective basis for further application of the round and sharp needle combined therapy in the treatment of cervical headache,and provide a safe and reliable treatment method for the treatment of cervical headache.Methods: A randomized controlled trial was conducted to select 72 patients with cervical headache who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria.They were divided into a treatment group(combined therapy with round and sharp acupuncture)and a control group(conventional acupuncture group),with 36 patients in each group.Both groups of patients were treated once every other day,with 7 times being used as a course of treatment for a total of 2 courses of treatment.The patients were assessed before and after treatment with a visual analog pain score(VAS),cervical joint range of motion(ROM),and headache impact measurement score(HIT-6).SPSS21.0 statistical software was used to statistically analyze the collected data and compare the differences in clinical efficacy between the two groups after treatment.Results:1.Statistical analysis of the pre-treatment gender,age,disease duration,VAS score,ROM score and HIT-6 score of the two groups of patients showed no statistically significant differences(P>0.05)and were comparable.2.VAS score: The VAS scores of the two groups were compared within and between groups after treatment,and it was concluded that both therapy groups had significant efficacy in treating this disease(P=0.000<0.01 in the treatment group;P=0.000<0.01 in the control group),and the degree of headache relief after treatment was better in the round sharp needle combined treatment group than in the conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).3.ROM score: After treatment,the ROM scores of the two groups were compared within and between groups,and it was found that both therapy groups had significant efficacy in treating this disease(P=0.000<0.01 in the treatment group and P=0.000<0.01 in the control group).And the degree of improvement in cervical spine joint activity was better in the round sharp needle combined treatment group compared with the conventional acupuncture group after treatment(P<0.05).4.HIT-6 score: After treatment,the HIT-6 scores of the two groups were compared within and between groups,and it was found that both therapy groups had significant efficacy in treating this disease(P=0.000<0.01 in the treatment group;P=0.000<0.01 in the control group).Moreover,the combined therapy group with round sharp needles could better improve the quality of life of patients and improve work and learning efficiency(P<0.05).5.After treatment,6 cases were cured,18 cases were significantly effective,8 cases were effective,and 3 cases were ineffective in the combined circular acupuncture group,and the total effective rate was 91.43%;3 cases were clinically cured,11 cases were significantly effective,15 cases were effective,and 6 cases were ineffective,in the conventional acupuncture group,and the total effective rate was 82.86%,and the difference was statistically significant when comparing the clinical efficacy of the two groups(P=0.023<0.05),indicating that both methods can be used to treat cervical headache,and the total effective rate of the combined therapy group with Yuanli acupuncture was better than that of the conventional acupuncture group.Conclusion:1.The combination therapy of round sharp needle and conventional acupuncture both have better efficacy and can effectively reduce the degree of headache and improve the duration and frequency of headache in patients.2.The combined therapy of round and sharp acupuncture has a more significant effect on improving the degree of cervical headache and the range of motion of cervical joints,and its clinical efficacy is superior to that of conventional acupuncture alone.3.The combination therapy of round and sharp needles has more advantages in improving the quality of work,life,and learning of patients with cervical headache.Through this clinical study,it has been confirmed that the treatment of cervical headache with Yuanli acupuncture combined therapy has a significant effect,is simple and easy to operate,has high safety and no side effects,and is worthy of wide clinical application.
