Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Parkinson’S Disease Constipation (Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency Type) With Ziyin Xifeng Recipe Combined With Acupuncture

Objective: In this study,by applying the method of Ziyin Xifeng recipe combined with acupuncture to treat the type of deficiency of liver and kidney yin of Parkinson’s disease constipation,we observed the clinical curative effect and evaluated its safety objectively,so as to relieve the symptoms of the patients with Parkinson’s disease constipation,the purpose of improving their quality of life.Methods:To collect Parkinson’s disease patients with constipation who had visited the geriatrics department of the Jilin Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese Changchun University of Chinese Medicine from December to October 2022,and 2021 to the department of Geriatrics,72 patients with Parkinson’s disease constipation of liver and kidney yin deficiency type were randomly divided into two groups,both groups were treated with Madopar,the treatment group was treated with Ziyin Xifeng recipe combined with acupuncture,the patients in the control group were treated with lactulose oral solution for 4 weeks,during the treatment period,the patients were instructed to take proper aerobic exercise,to eat fruits,vegetables,coarse grains and other foods rich in dietary fiber.Avoid eating spicy,cold,greasy,indigestible food;quit smoking and limit alcohol;form good defecation habits,in addition to the use of drugs during clinical observation and other basic diseases,do not use other drugs that have an effect on constipation symptoms.Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,patients in both groups were evaluated with CSS,TCM syndrome score and PAC-QOL,and followed up for 4 weeks after treatment,efficacy was evaluated again at follow-up,and patients with worsening constipation were considered to have relapsed if their efficacy score was less than 30%.Results:1.A total of the 72 patients enrolled in this study,69 completed the study,including 1case lost in the treatment group,35 cases actual completed in the group,and 2 cases dropped out halfway in the control group,there were 34 cases actual completed in the group.2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the clinical symptoms of constipation were significantly relieved.The clinical effective rate was 85.7% in the treatment group and 82.4% in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.After 4 weeks of treatment,the CSS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),However,the score of the treatment group decreased more significantly,indicating that the treatment group has more advantages in reducing constipation score.4.After 4 weeks of treatment,the score of TCM syndrome in both groups decreased,but the score of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.After treatment,there was a significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group could improve the constipation symptoms of PD patients,and had more advantages than the control group in improving the symptoms of liver and kidney yin deficiency.5.After 4 weeks of treatment,the PAC-QOL scores of the two groups were significantly different(P<0.05),the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the quality of life of patients with constipation.6.The recurrence rate was 16.67%(5 cases)in the treatment group and 42.86%(12cases)in the control group.There was a significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(p<0.05).The recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group.It showed that the long-term curative effect of Ziyin Xifeng recipe combined with acupuncture was better than that of lactulose oral solution.Conclusion:In conclusion,Ziyin Xifeng recipe combined with acupuncture has a better clinical effect on constipation of Parkinson’s disease,and the long-term effect is better than that of lactulose,which can be widely used in clinic to alleviate the constipation symptoms,improve the quality of life of the patients with constipation and increase patients’ confidence in treatment.To sum up,has a better clinical effect on constipation of Parkinson’s disease,and its long-term effect is better than that of lactulose oral liquid,which can not only improve the constipation symptoms and improve the quality of life of the patients,but also improve the quality of life of the patients,it can also be widely used in clinical practice.
