Objective: To study the effect of Masu Zhike Decoction, the tutor’s empirical prescription,on the improvement of symptoms in the treatment of children’s post-infection cough(cold dampness and phlegm obstruction syndrome),and to preliminarily evaluate the safety of this prescription,so as to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of children’s post-infection cough, and to better play the application advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in pediatric clinical practice. Methods: A randomized controlled study method was used to divide 72 children with cough, cold, dampness and phlegm obstruction syndrome after infection into observation group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with Masu Zhike Decoction, and the control group was treated with montelukast sodium chewable tablets combined with ambroxol hydrochloride oral solution(mucosolvan).Seven days was a course of treatment,a total of one course of treatment.First of all, record the TCM symptoms and signs of the cases before and after treatment, and then quantitatively score the collected symptoms and signs according to the efficacy evaluation criteria, and then statistically analyze the efficacy scores within and between groups, and finally objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of Masu Zhike Decoction in treating cough after infection of cold-dampness phlegm obstruction syndrome. Results A total of 62 effective cases were collected in this subject, including 32 cases in the observation group and 30 cases in the control group. The details are as follows:(1)Efficacy evaluation: The total effective rate in the observation group was87.5%;The total effective rate of the control group was 83.3%,and the difference was statistically significant through statistical analysis(P < 0.05),so the curative effect of the observation group was better than the control group.(2)The difference between the total score, primary score and secondary score of symptoms before and after treatment with Masu cough Decoction in children with cold dampness phlegm-blocking syndrome was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)After treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in the scores of main symptoms between the two groups(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group in improving cough, expectoration and tongue image.(4)After treatment, the secondary disease scores of the two groups showed statistically significant differences in improving drowsiness, fatigue, chills and loose stools(P < 0.05),and the curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group. There was no statistical significance in improving the auscultation of natto and lung(P > 0.05),and the two groups had similar efficacy.(5)Safety evaluation: In the course of this treatment,no adverse reactions occurred in the two groups.Conclusion:(1)Studies have shown that Masu cough soup can effectively treat the syndrome of cold dampness and phlegm blockage after infection in children.(2)No adverse reactions were found in this study and the application was safe. |
