Clinical Study Of Yikan Decoction Combined With Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Primary Retinitis Pigmentosa Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency Type

Objective : At present,there is a lack of effective treatment for primary retinitis pigmentosa,and most patients’ vision deteriorates significantly during their teenage years,which brings heavy mental and economic burdens to families and society.This study observed the clinical efficacy of oral Yikan decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of patients with high wind finch’s eye of Yin deficiency of liver and kidney,and summarized the effective treatment plan for this kind of disease,which can improve the clinical symptoms such as night blindness and vision loss,improve the quality of life,and guide the clinical application.Method:Fifty patients(100 eyes)with high wind sparrow’s eye Yin deficiency of liver and kidney were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.The observation ratio of control group 1(20 eyes),control group 2(40 eyes)and treatment group(40 eyes)was 1:2:2.The control group 2 was treated with vitamin A soft capsule combined with Yikan decoction,and the treatment group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of the treatment in the control group 2.The changes of visual acuity,visual field,optic nerve fiber layer thickness,and clinical symptoms and signs scores were observed and recorded before and 1 month after treatment,and the clinical efficacy of the three groups was compared.Results: 1.Visual acuity: one month after treatment,the visual acuity of the three groups was higher than that before treatment,indicating that the visual acuity of the three groups had improved,with statistical significance(P<0.05),and the effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group 2 and the control group 1,and the total effective rate was 82.5%,57.5%,25%,respectively.After treatment,the difference between control group 1 and control group 2.The difference between control group 1 and treatment group was statistically significant.The difference between the control group 2 and the treatment group was statistically significant.The therapeutic effect of vitamin A and Yikan decoction combined with acupuncture is better than that of vitamin A alone and vitamin A combined with Yikan decoction,which can significantly improve the visual acuity of PRP.2.Visual field: after 1 month of treatment,the absolute value of Mean defect(MD)and pattern standard deviation(PSD)of visual field in the three groups were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the three groups had the effect of improving visual field.After treatment,there was no significant difference in MD between control group 1 and control group 2.There was significant difference between control group 1 and control group 2 and treatment group.There was no significant difference in PSD among the three groups after treatment.This study shows that vitamin A,Yikan decoction combined with acupuncture can significantly improve the panretinal function of PRP.3.The scores of clinical symptoms and signs of the three groups 1 month after treatment were significantly better than those before treatment,indicating that the three groups had improved the clinical symptoms of PRP patients,and the effective rates of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group 2 and the control group 1,which were 85%,60% and 30%,respectively.After treatment,the scores of clinical symptoms and signs among the three groups were compared,and the differences between the control group 1 and the control group 2 were statistically significant.The difference between control group 2 and control group treatment group was statistically significant.The difference between control group 1 and control group 2 was statistically significant.4.There was no significant difference in the thickness of the optic nerve fiber layer between the three groups at 1 month after treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusions: Yikan decoction combined with acupuncture therapy and vitamin A soft capsule have achieved good therapeutic effect in clinical practice,which can improve the visual acuity,visual field and clinical symptoms and signs score in a short period of time.The effect of Yikan decoction combined with acupuncture therapy and vitamin A soft capsule in the treatment of PRP is better than that of the simple oral vitamin A soft capsule group and the Yikan decoction combined with vitamin A soft capsule group.
