Clinical Observation Of Qibao Meiran Dan With Additional Integrants On The Treatment Of Female Patter Hair Loss With Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Both Liver And Kidney

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Qibao Meiran Dan with additional integrants.on the Treatment of Female Patter Hair Loss with syndrome of deficiency of both liver and kidney.Methods: A total of 70 patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected and divided into 36 cases in the treatment group(Qibao Meiran Dan with additional integrants combined with Erbium laser)and 34 cases in the control group(Spironolactone combined with Erbium laser)according to the patients’ wishes.Both groups were treated with topical application of hair loss tincture for 4 weeks as a course of treatment for a total of three courses,and the patients’ hair loss score,scalp itchiness score,scalp greasiness score,scalp furunculosis score,hair analysis results,TCM evidence score,female pattern hair loss severity index,Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale,dermatological quality of life index scale,and hospital-use anxiety and depression scale.Clinical efficacy evaluation was performed at the end of the treatment to observe the efficacy of the addition of Qibao Meiran Dan with additional integrants and to record the adverse reactions.Results:1.Among the 72 patients enrolled,2 cases were shed in the control group,and the final number of completed cases was 70.The general data(gender,age,disease duration)and related scores of the patients in both groups before treatment were comparable(P>0.05).2.After the end of treatment,the subjective condition score,TCM syndrome score,FPHL-SI score,and PSQI score of patients in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05)within the group,except for the PSQI score,which was statistically significant between the groups;the DLQI score and HADS score of patients in the treatment group were lower than before,and there was no significant change in the control group.3.At the end of the treatment,the hair analysis results of patients in both groups were significantly improved compared with before,among which hair density and follicle utilization in both groups were statistically significant in intra-group and inter-group comparisons(P<0.05),Conclusion: The efficacy of combined external treatment with Qibao Meiran Dan with additional integrants in treating female pattern hair loss with syndrome of deficiency of both liver and kidney is exact,and it is better than spironolactone in improving the volume of hair loss,greasy and itchy degree,and TCM symptoms,with the advantages of high safety and exact efficacy.
