| Objective:In this study,a randomized controlled trial was conducted to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of "Chaiqin Wendan Decoction combined with Shengjiang Powder" in the treatment of allergic rhinitis with lung meridian heat,so as to provide clinical and theoretical basis for popularizing traditional Chinese medicine to prevent and treat this disease and improve the curative effect.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,60 patients with allergic rhinitis of lung meridian stagnation type were included and randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given budesonide nasal spray,while the treatment group was given oral "Chaiqin Wendan Decoction plus Shengjiang Powder" on the basis of the control group.The treatment cycle was 4 weeks.By observing and recording the serum total IgE,symptoms and signs quantitative scale and quality of life questionnaire in the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment,the data were analyzed and the clinical efficacy was evaluated.Results:1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,severity of illness,serum total IgE,symptom and sign quantitative scale and quality of life questionnaire(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Serum total IgE: The expression level of serum total IgE in the control group and the treatment group was lower than that before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05);Comparison between groups: The decrease of IgE content in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Quantitative score of symptoms and signs: The scores of symptoms and signs in the treatment group were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05);In the control group,except for "dry throat,dry mouth,itchy throat and cough",the other symptoms and signs were different(P>0.05).Comparison between groups: There was statistical significance in "nasal congestion,sneezing,runny nose,itchy nose,fever,dry throat,itchy throat and cough"(P <0.05);There was no significant difference in "turbinate enlargement,eye symptoms,abnormal sense of smell and nosebleed"(P>0.05).4.Quality of life questionnaire: After treatment,the quality of life scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: The scores of RQLQ in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison of clinical efficacy: The total effective rate of the control group was73.3%,and that of the treatment group was 93.3%,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Chaiqin Wendan Decoction combined with Shengjiang Powder can significantly reduce the expression level of serum total IgE in patients with allergic rhinitis of lung meridian heat.2.Chaiqin Wendan Decoction combined with Shengjiang Powder can obviously improve the related symptoms and signs and improve the quality of life of patients with allergic rhinitis of lung meridian heat.3.Compared with budesonide nasal spray alone,Chaiqin Wendan Decoction combined with Shengjiang Powder combined with budesonide nasal spray can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of allergic rhinitis with lung meridian heat. |
