| ObjectiveThrough clinical research,observe the improvement of symptoms of allergic rhinitis in children with latent heat of lung meridian treated by Xinyi Kangmin Decoction,and provide objective basis and treatment methods for the treatment of allergic rhinitis in children with latent heat of lung meridian by traditional Chinese medicine and clinical medication.MethodsFrom January 2022 to November 2022,60 children with allergic rhinitis of children with lung meridian latent heat were selected from the pediatric outpatient department of Guangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the age of 6 months to 6 years.According to the method of random number table,the patients were divided into two groups: the traditional Chinese medicine observation group(Xinyi Kangmin Decoction)and the western medicine group(cetirizine hydrochloride drops),with 30 patients in each group.The traditional Chinese medicine observation group received the intervention of Xinyi Kangmin Decoction,and the western medicine group received the intervention of cetirizine hydrochloride drops,Observe the score of TCM symptoms such as nasal itching,sneezing,runny nose,swelling of nasal mucosa,changes of Ig E and EOS levels and adverse reactions before and after treatment.Through the two groups of intervention,observe the Ig E and EOS inhibition effect and related mechanism of Xinyi Kangmin decoction in the treatment of allergic rhinitis in children with latent heat of lung meridian.Results1.Comparison of general data: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,course of disease,etc.(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Comparison between the two groups before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable;3.Intra-group comparison after treatment: There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the classification of main symptoms,concurrent symptoms,and physical signs of turbinate before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both Xinyi Kangmin Decoction and cetirizine hydrochloride drops were effective in improving the symptoms of allergic rhinitis in children with latent heat in the lung meridian.4.Comparison between groups after treatment:(1)There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the overall main symptom score and turbinate physical signs(P>0.05),indicating that the efficacy of Xinyi Kangmin Decoction and cetirizine hydrochloride drops in improving the main symptoms and turbinate physical signs of children was equivalent.(2)After treatment,the overall concurrent symptom score of the Chinese medicine observation group was lower than that of the western medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The curative effects of the two groups were similar in the cases of eye itching,dry mouth,fever and epistaxis;(3)When comparing the overall clinical efficacy of the two groups,the total effective rate of the Chinese medicine observation group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the western medicine group was 73.33%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall clinical efficacy of the Chinese medicine observation group was better than that of the western medicine group.(4)When comparing the serum Ig E and EOS levels of the two groups after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Chinese medicine observation group could better reduce the serum Ig E and EOS levels.(5)During the whole experimental study,there was no adverse reaction in the observation group of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment,and there was no adverse reaction in the follow-up,which showed that the decoction of Xinyi Kangmin was safe and reliable.ConclusionUnder the guidance of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,Xinyi Kangmin Decoction was used to treat and intervene allergic rhinitis in children with latent heat of lung meridian.Through follow-up,it was found that compared with cetirizine hydrochloride drops,Xinyi Kangmin Decoction could better improve the curative effect of patients and TCM symptoms,and lower the level of Ig E and EOS compared with the western medicine group.Clinical studies have confirmed that the treatment of Xinyi Kangmin Decoction is safe and effective,and can improve the inflammatory state of allergic rhinitis. |
