Objective: This topic aims to study the clinical efficacy of Yinchenhao decoction retention enema in improving the adverse reactions of patients with liver and gallbladd er damp-heat syndrome after Transarterial arterial chemoembolization,(TACE)for liver cancer, evaluate the treatment effect and safety of this treatment scheme, and enrich th e clinical treatment scheme for improving the adverse reactions after TACE,so as to provide clinical ideas and research basis for the treatment of patients with liver and g allbladder damp-heat syndrome after TACE for liver cancer.Research methods: 72 patients with primary liver cancer after TACE were selected from the inpatients in the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery of Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to February 2023,and were divided into observation group and control group according to the method of random numbers, with 36 patients in each group. The observation group was given Yinchenhao Decoction retention enema on the basis of routine treatment and symptomatic treatment such as liver protection and anti-virus;Both groups were observed for 7 days. The duration of related adverse reaction symptoms,TCM syndrome score,Karnofsky performance status(KPS)score, and liver function were observed after operation, and the statistical analysis was performed with SPSS 26.0software package. Results: The observation group included 36 cases and completed 36 cases, while the control group included 36 cases and completed 36 cases.1.Comparison of the duration of clinical symptoms such as fever, pain, nausea and vomiting: The duration of fever and pain in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the duration of nausea and vomiting between the two groups(P>0.05).2.TCM syndrome score: There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the improvement of TCM syndrome score in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of KPS scores: There was no significant difference in KPS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference in KPS scores between the two groups after treatment.4.Comparison of liver function: alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST)and total bilirubin(TBIL)were used as evaluation indicators for liver function. There was no significant difference in liver function between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the improvement of liver function in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Yinchenhao decoction retention enema can significantly improve the adverse reactions of patients with hepatobiliary damp-heat type after TACE for liver cancer, significantly shorten the duration of clinical symptoms(fever, pain),reduce TCM syndrome score, improve functional status and liver function damage, and is worthy of clinical promotion and use.
