Clinical Efficacy Observation Of Hewei Ningsou Decoction In The Treatment Of Gastroesophageal Reflux Cough With Deficiency Of Middle Energizer And Reversed Flow Of Qi Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of “Hewei Ningsou Decoction” combination with conventional western medicine in treating gastroesophageal reflux cough with deficiency of middle energizer and reversed flow of qi syndrome.To provide theoretical basis for clinical application of this prescription.Methods: 72 patients of gastroesophageal reflux cough with deficiency of middle energizer and reversed flow of qi syndrome were divided into control group and treatment group,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was given Esomeprazole Enteric-coated Capsules combined with Mosapride Citrate Tablets,and the treatment group was added with Hewei Ningsou Decoction on the basis of the control group,both groups were treated for 8 weeks.TCM syndrome score,Cough Evaluation Test(CET)score,Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire(GerdQ)score and Hull Airway Reflux Questionnaire(HARQ)score before and after treatment were analyzed and compared.One month after the treatment,TCM symptom score was filled in again to clarify the recurrence.Result:1.Treatment completion status: A total of 67 patients completed treatment,with 33 in the treatment group and 34 in the control group.There was no statistically significant difference in treatment completion status between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Baseline comparison before treatment: There was no significant difference in age,gender,course of disease,TCM syndrome scores,CET score,GerdQ score and HARQ score before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Analysis of therapeutic effect(1)Efficacy of TCM syndrome: The total effective rate was 93.94% in the treatment group and 82.35% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)TCM syndrome score and TCM symptom scores: TCM syndrome score of both groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and TCM syndrome score of the treatment group decreased more obviously,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The results showed that there was no significant difference in the score of loose stool symptom in the control group(P>0.05),after treatment,the rest score of various TCM symptoms were lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).the improvement of cough,expectoration,acid regurgitation,belching,fatigue and loose stool symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups in heartburn,gastric distension,loss of appetite(P>0.05).(3)CET score: CET score in both groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).(4)GerdQ score: After treatment,the scores of both groups were lower than before,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)HARQ score: HARQ scores of the two groups decreased after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the difference between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was better than the control group in easing airway reflux and airway sensitivity.(6)Recurrence assessment: There were 3 cases of recurrence in the treatment group and10 cases in the control group,the recurrence rate in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.There was statistical significance in recurrence between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The combination of Hewei Ningsou Decoction and conventional western medicine can obviously relieve the cough and regurgitation related symptoms of patients with deficiency of middle energizer and reversed flow of qi syndrome,it also can effectively regulate the symptoms of insufficiency of middle-warmer energy such as fatigue and loose stool,improve the quality of life of patients,and the efficacy is better than conventional western medicine.2.The combination of Hewei Ningsou Decoction and conventional western medicine can reduce the recurrence rate of gastroesophageal reflux cough with deficiency of middle energizer and reversed flow of qi syndrome.3.The combination of Hewei Ningsou Decoction and conventional western medicine is safe and effective,and has the value of promotion and application in clinical practice.
