Objective: By observing the changes of pain degree,TBI value, foot microcirculation and TCM symptom score before and after treatment in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans(blood stasis type),the clinical efficacy of wrist-ankle acupuncture in the treatment of resting pain in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans(blood stasis type)was discussed, and a new clinical treatment method was provided for patients with resting pain. Methods: Sixty-four inpatients with blood stasis type lower limb atherosclerosis occlusive disease who came to the Department of Second Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to February 2023 and met the inclusion criteria were selected and grouped and numbered using the random number table method, with a single number being31 cases in the treatment group(one case of detachment)and a double number being 32 cases in the control group(no detachment). In the control group,on top of the conventional basic treatment, the patients were treated orally with lofen-tiene extended-release tablets twice a day at 2.4g.In the treatment group,on top of the control group, the patients were treated with carpal and ankle acupuncture, with the areas of double lower 1,double lower 2,double lower4 and double lower 6 zones, once a day,and the needles were kept for 8 hours. After 15 days of treatment, the VAS score, degree of pain relief, change in TBI value, change in foot microcirculation and TCM symptom score were analysed against each other before and after treatment in both groups.Statistical analysis of the observed data was performed using the statistical software SPSS 26.0.Results:(1)There were no significant differences in VAS score,TBI and foot microcirculation between the two groups before treatment, which were not statistically significant(P>0.05);the differences in VAS score and foot microcirculation after treatment were significant and statistically significant(P < 0.05),and TBI after treatment was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).(2)The differences in VAS score and foot microcirculation were significant and statistically significant(P<0.05)in the two groups compared within the group, and the TBI improved slightly after treatment, but not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)The total effective rate was 93.6% in the treatment group and 87.5%in the control group, and the comparison between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with ibuprofen and codeine sustained-release tablets and taking ibuprofen and codeine sustained-release tablets alone can effectively relieve resting pain caused by lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans, but the combined wrist-ankle acupuncture has more obvious analgesic effect and longer analgesic time.2.The treatment of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with Ibuprofen and codeine sustained-release tablets can improve foot microcirculation, improve symptoms and signs of patients, and the therapeutic effect is better than that of oral analgesics alone.
