Objective: Based on the theory of yin deficiency and blood stasis, the clinical efficacy of modified Fumai decoction in the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans(ASO)of lower limbs with yin deficiency and blood stasis was observed, and its efficacy and safety were evaluated, providing a new direction for the treatment of ASO of lower limbs with traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: A randomized controlled study was conducted.Patients with lower limb ASO who met the diagnostic criteria were divided into control group and treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with western medicine(intravenous drip of alprostadil injection); The treatment group was given modified Fumai Decoction on the basis of the control group. The treatment period was 8 weeks. The curative effect indexes and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded, and the clinical efficacy and safety were evaluated.SPSS22.0statistical software was used for statistical analysis of all data.Result: 1.Comparison of TCM syndrome curative effect : Both groups can improve TCM syndrome and curative effect. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7 %;The total effective rate of the control group was 66.7 %.After treatment, the symptoms of coldness, pain, numbness and intermittent claudication of both lower limbs, and yin deficiency symptoms such as five-heart annoyance, sweating, dry mouth and pharynx, tongue and pulse were improved in the two groups. After treatment, the efficacy of TCM syndrome in the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01),indicating that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving TCM syndrome.2.Comparison of ankle brachial index(ABI):Both groups can improve the ABI level of patients, after treatment, the control group and the treatment group were statistically significant(P <0.05).That is,the treatment group is better than the control group in improving ABI level.3.Comparison of blood lipid and fibrinogen : Both groups can improve the levels of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)and fibrinogen(Fib),and there was no significant difference in TG and LDL-C between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).After treatment, the TC comparison between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01),indicating that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving TC.Both groups could improve the level of Fib,and the comparison between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.01),that is,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving Fib.Conclusion: Self-made modified Fumai decoction can not only significantly improve the clinical syndromes of lower limb ASO patients with Yin deficiency and blood stasis, but also effectively improve the ABI index of patients, reduce blood lipids and fibrinogen levels.
