Objection:Through the investigation and analysis of lung cancer patients, this study has an in-depth understanding of the current situation of delayed medical treatment of lung cancer patients, and analyzes the influencing factors of delayed medical treatment of lung cancer patients,so as to guide lung cancer patients to make correct decisions, promote timely medical treatment of lung cancer patients, improve the survival rate, improve the quality of life, and rationally allocate health resources for health institutions at all levels. To provide reference and basis for government health departments to formulate prevention and treatment policies of lung cancer. Methods:This study is divided into two parts. The first part is a qualitative study. The objective sampling method is adopted to conduct semi-structured interviews with 10 lung cancer patients in the Cockshead area who meet the inclusion criteria and are admitted to the inpatient department of a third-class A hospital in Jixi City. The basic information and disease-related information of the patients are collected. To provide variable reference for quantitative research,in order to find the concentration and complementarity between results. The second part is a quantitative study. The convenience sampling method is adopted to investigate 160 patients with lung cancer in the Cockscomb area who meet the inclusion criteria in a third-class A hospital in Jixi City. The basic information and disease-related information of the patients are collected. To analyze whether the single factor influencing the delay of medical treatment in lung cancer patients was statistically significant. Then binary logistic regression was used to analyze the factors of delayed hospitalization in lung cancer patients to explore the relationship between delayed hospitalization and variables.Result:In the part of qualitative research, among 10 patients with lung cancer with delayed medical treatment who were interviewed, the influencing factors of delayed medical treatment of lung cancer patients were educational level, disease knowledge, health awareness, family income, family support, smoking history and disease perception. In the quantitative study, among the 160 patients with lung cancer sampled,73 patients with lung cancer showed delay in seeing a doctor, with a delay rate of 60.6%.Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in the following factors:gender, age, marital status, education level, health awareness, family income, family support, smoking history and disease perception.Binary Logistic regression analysis was used to make a multivariate analysis of the statistically significant factors of delay in seeing a doctor in lung cancer patients. The results showed that the main influencing factors of delay in seeing a doctor in lung cancer patients were gender, marital status, family income, family support, and disease perception. Conclusion:Patients with lung cancer have a high rate of delayed medical treatment, which is not optimistic.Gender, age, marital status, education level, disease knowledge and health awareness were the characteristic factors affecting the tendency of patients with lung cancer to delay seeking medical treatment.Resource promoting factors include family income and family support;Need factors include disease perception.
