Clinical Observation Of Chaihu Shugan Powder On Chronic Erosive Gastritis With Disharmonious Liver And Stomach Type

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Chaihu Shugan powder on chronic erosive gastritis with disharmonious liver and stomach type and to further explore the "Restore liver and stomach function coordination method" and to provide clinical basis for further basic research with the application of Professor Tung Chee-hwa’s "Tong jiang" Theory in clinical practice treating patients with CEG.Methods:The patients included in this study were all treated in the expert clinic of Chief physician Li Zhigang and Spleen and Gastrology Unit of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2020 to October 2022.A total of 70 patients were tested for on chronic erosive gastritis with disharmonious liver and stomach type and randomly divided into experimental group(Chaihu Shugan Powder plus or minus +Pantoprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets 40mg+ Rebamipide Tablets 0.1g)and control group(Pantoprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets 40mg+ Rebamipide Tablets 0.1g).During the study,5 cases fell off,so 65 cases were finally included in the analysis.Quantitative scores of TCM clinical syndroms and total scores under endoscopy were compared between the two groups of patients before and after treatment to observe the improvement of gastric mucosal lesions under endoscopy.Results:1)According to the statistics,3 people shed control group and 2 people shed experiment group,so the control group and the experimental group respectively completed the study of 32 and 33 people;2)Gastrointestinal tract erosion was significantly different between the two groups at the end of treatment,with P < 0.05,and the main TCM tract after treatment was better than the control group(P < 0.05)Gastrointestinal tract erosion was better than the control group(P < 0.05).3)In terms of reducing the single TCM symptom score: after treatment,the single TCM Symptom score of the two groups was compared within the group,and the result was P<0.05,which was statistically significant;After treatment,improvement in symptoms of “painful epigastric distension and loss of appetite” was compared between the two groups(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.4)Total effective rate of TCM clinical symptoms: treatment group total effective rate(100%)higher than the control group(90.63%),P<0.05,which is statistically significant;5)In terms of reducing gastroscopy performance scores,mucosal undergastroscopy scores in both groups increased at the end of treatment(P<0.05),with statistical significance;6)The total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.94% and the control group was84.38%,and did not differ significantly between the two groups(P > 0.05).7)There were no abnormalities in the safety index of both groups after treatment Conclusion: Chaihu Shugan Powder is safe and effective in treating chronic erosive gastritis with disharmonious liver and stomach type,which can eliminate gastric mucosal inflammation under gastroscopy to a certain extent,promote the repair of gastric mucosal tissue under gastroscopy,reverse part of chronic erosive gastritis,and significantly relieve the discomfort symptoms of patients in clinical application.
