Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Functional Constipation (Spleen And Kidney Yang Deficiency Type) With Wenyang Zhutong Prescription

Objective:To observe and analyze the clinical effect of Wenyang Zhutong prescription(WZP)in functional constipation(FC)belonged to spleen-kidney yang deficiency,and dig out the better treatment.Methods:66 patients with FC and spleen-kidney yang deficiency,who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,there being 33 patients in each group,where the treatment group was given WZP,while the control received moxapride citrate tablet orally,with 30 days as a course totally.After the treatment,the total score of TCM symptoms including master and secondary syndrome score and the patient assessment of constipation quality of life questionnaire(PAC-QOL)before and after 30 days of treatment were observed and compared,the efficacy of WZP being evaluated.In this work,statistical analysis of all relevant data were processed via SPSS26.0.Results:After 30 days of treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms and PAC-QOL of the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),meaning the difference was statistically significant,which indicates that TCM symptoms and the patient assessment of constipation quality of life have different degrees of improvement.Compared with the control,the treatment group was relatively more outstanding(P <0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment and the control group respectively were 87.50% and 74.19%,revealing the fact that the former was higher than the later(P <0.05),which was statistically significant.Conclusion:For patients with FC and spleen-kidney yang deficiency,there are both effective in WZP and mosapride citrate tablets,WZP being better.
