Clinical Observation Of Wenfu Mitong Decoction In Treating Functional Constipation(Spleen And Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome )

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Wenfu Mitong Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation(spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome),explore its application value,and provide a new idea and method for clinical treatment of functional constipation(spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome).Methods:72 patients with functional constipation of spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group,with 36 cases in each group.The experimental group was treated with Wenfu Mitong Decoction,and the control group was treated with Lactulose Oral Solution for 4 weeks.During the treatment,both groups of patients were given life health guidance,including adjusting the diet structure,establishing good defecation habits,and exercising appropriately.After the course of treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores(individual and total scores),the weekly number of spontaneous complete bowel movement(SCBM),and the quality of life scores of the two groups of patients at 0,2,and 4 weeks of treatment were observed,and the clinical efficacy of Wenfu Mitong Decoction was evaluated.Results:1.Comparison of traditional Chinese medicine single symptom scores:After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment in the two groups,the traditional Chinese medicine single symptom scores were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of traditional Chinese medicine single symptom scores in the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment was better than that after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.Comparison of the total scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms:the total scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms in the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of total scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms in the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment was better than that after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.The weekly number of SCBM:After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment in both groups,the weekly number of SCBM increased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of the weekly number of SCBM in the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment was better than that after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).4.Quality of life scores:The quality of life scores of the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of quality of life in the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment was better than that after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Clinical efficacy evaluation:After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 87.88%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 75.76%.The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusions:1.Wenfu Mitong Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with functional constipation(spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome),and its curative effect is better than that of Lactulose Oral Solution.2.Wenfu Mitong Decoction can effectively increase the weekly number of SCBM in patients with functional constipation(spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome),and its curative effect is better than that of Lactulose Oral Solution.3.Wenfu Mitong Decoction can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with functional constipation(spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome),and its curative effect is better than that of Lactulose Oral Solution.
