Clinical Observation Of Tao Ling Yu Yang Tang For Ulcerative Colitis (Syndrome Of Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Accumulation)

Obj ective:To investigate the clinical value of Tao Ling Yu Yang Tang by observing its effectiveness in treating ulcerative colitis with syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation,and to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of ulcerative colitis with spleen deficiency and dampness.Methods:From January to December 2022,60 patients with ulcerative colitis(syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation)were admitted to the Department of Liver,Spleen and Stomach Diseases of the First Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine,and all these patients met the admission requirements.According to the patients’ medication status,patients with UC who took Peach Ling Healing Ulcer Soup orally were set up as the test group and patients with UC who took Mesalazine Enteric Dissolve Tablets orally were set up as the control group,with 30 patients in each group.Test group:Tao Ling Yu Yang Tang and healing ulcer soup was given.Control group:given mesalazine enteric coated tablets.Both groups were given a course of treatment for 1 month and the patients were not given any other medication during the course of treatment.The results of both groups were studied,including the cure rate,improvement in condition,C-reactive protein level(CRP)and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),as well as the possible side effects of the treatment process.Results:1.The two groups were comparable in terms of age,gender,disease duration,degree of illness,MAYO points before treatment,Chinese medicine evidence points and symptom points,and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the MAYO points in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05),indicating that both groups could effectively redUCe the MAYO points;when compared between the two groups,there was a statistical difference(P<0.05),indicating that the test group was better than the control group in redUCing the total MAYO points.In terms of clinical efficiency,the test group was 8 6.67%and the control group was 68.97%.The overall clinical efficacy of the test group was significantly better than that of the control group,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the evidence points of the two groups were lower than before treatment,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05),indicating that both groups could effectively redUCe the evidence points;there was a statistical difference(P<0.05)between the two groups,indicating that the test group was better than the control group in redUCing the total score of the evidence points.The overall efficacy of the Chinese medicine symptoms in the test group was better than that in the control group,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).4.In terms of improvement,the difference between the primary and secondary symptoms before and after treatment was significant,indicating that both groups were able to improve each symptom effectively.After treatment,there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)between the two groups in terms of pus and blood stool,diarrhoea and post-emergence;and there was a significant difference(P<0.01)in terms of abdominal pain,diet,body fatigue and lassitude,indicating that the test group could improve the abdominal pain,diet,body fatigue,lassitude,pus and blood stool,diarrhoea and post-emergence better than the control group.5.In terms of CRP and ESR,there were significant differences in CRP and ESR between the two groups after treatment when compared within the group at P<0.0 1 and between the groups at P<0.01.Conclusion:1.UC patients taking Tao Ling Yu Yang Tang Healing Ulcer Soup can significantly relieve their symptoms sUCh as pus and blood stools,diet,abdominal pain,shortness of breath,diarrhea,tiredness of limbs and laziness of speech.2.Tao Ling Yu Yang Tang Healing Ulcer Soup can effectively redUCe C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate.3.However,compared with the two treatments,the overall efficacy of Tao Ling Yu Yang Tang Healing Ulcer Soup was better than that of Mesalazine Enteric Dissolve Tablets in the control group,and it did not cause adverse effects on human body during the treatment period.
