Chinese Medicine Culture Education Research

The culture of Chinese medicine is the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people who have been using Chinese medicinal materials for thousands of years and have condensed it in their tenacious struggle with nature and diseases,which is the spiritual driving force to promote the prosperity of Chinese medicine.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in his congratulatory letter to the 60 th anniversary of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine that "Chinese medicine is the treasure of ancient Chinese science and the key to open the treasury of Chinese civilization." The culture of Chinese medicine is based on the basic principles of Chinese medicine and the practice of traditional Chinese medicine clinical treatment.It coalesces the ancient Chinese natural philosophical thoughts and ethical concepts,which have the value of nurturing people.The culture of Chinese medicine educates people in the practice of traditional Chinese culture with the characteristics of Chinese medicine culture,highlighting the inner mechanism of Chinese medicine culture,that is,using the profound heritage of Chinese medicine culture to lead people’s ideological progress from the surface to the inside,and then from the inside to the outside.The goal of Chinese medicine cultural education is to promote the high-quality inheritance and development of Chinese medicine culture,nurture new people capable of national rejuvenation,and ultimately promote the construction of a solid contemporary cultural nation and a healthy China.Tracing back to its roots,Chinese medicine culture has the positive effect of cultivating and nurturing people in five aspects: morality,intellect,physique,beauty,and labor.First,under the theoretical system of Chinese medicine culture,the individual,the state,and nature are inseparable.Therefore,Chinese medicine culture is rich in patriotic elements and ethical connotations and thus has moral education value.Secondly,regarding academic education,Chinese medicine culture is based on natural philosophy and is strongly related to biology,geography,history,philosophy,and other disciplines.Therefore,the culture of Chinese medicine education positively affects the accumulation of knowledge and training of the thinking ability of the educated.Again,from the perspective of sports,nurturing people with Chinese medicine culture helps educated people understand and master healthcare exercise methods such as Taijiquan,Five Animal Play,and Eight Duan Jin,which in turn helps physical fitness exercise and develop a healthy lifestyle.In the dimension of aesthetic education,on the one hand,Chinese medicine culture not only provides opportunities to approach "natural aesthetics" but also provides perspectives and methodologies for understanding "natural aesthetics";on the other hand,Chinese medicine culture also fits into the unique perspective of "humanistic On the other hand,Chinese medicine culture also fits into the unique perspective of "humanistic aesthetics," which can nurture the beauty of the heart and soul,and cultivate the beauty of temperament and harmony.Finally,regarding labor education,Chinese medicine culture originates from the medical practice of ancient working people,especially in the medical culture,which emphasizes "struggle,refinement and research" and is an essential traditional cultural resource for contemporary labor education.Chinese medicine culture education should be understood as a kind of daily-life oriented and particular ideological and theoretical education class.Therefore,Chinese medicine culture education should fully consider the audience’s Chinese medicine culture needs in different scenarios,contexts,and stages.Regarding the basic principles of Chinese medicine culture education,a balance should be struck between politics and rationality,professionalism and general knowledge,science and humanity,indoctrination and enlightenment,and normativity and diversity.In the logical progression of Chinese medicine culture education,we should grasp the dialectical unity of "humanizing literature" and "transforming literature." Specifically,we should break through the surface layer of theoretical knowledge of Chinese medicine culture,carry out the mass view and mass demand in the logical system of Chinese medicine culture,highlight the "human existence," make Chinese medicine culture trustworthy and worthy of being loved,and then obtain more substantial nurturing properties.On this basis,the practice of Chinese medicine culture cultivation can be carried out so that the values and ethical norms of Chinese medicine culture can be "internalized in the heart and externalized in practice."Under the current situation,three main constraints exist to cultivating Chinese medicine culture.First,the mechanism of Chinese medicine cultural education is not sound,and the degree of articulation and policy support among various elements is weak,resulting in the lack of guarantee for the practice of "collaborative education";second,the idea of Chinese medicine cultural education is not advanced,and there is a"double obstruction" in the concept of culture and education,which makes the "culture but not the practice" of Chinese medicine culture "not the practice." "Third,the effectiveness of Chinese medicine cultural education lacks high-quality evaluation standards and convincing evaluation results,and there is a lack of publicity.In the future,one is to optimize systematically,that is,to build a mechanism for collaborative Chinese medicine culture education from a holistic standpoint,and to make up for the rules and regulations and strengthen specific policy support;second,to upgrade concepts,to enrich Chinese medicine cultural thinking based on Chinese medicine cultural characteristics,and to widely absorb interdisciplinary theories such as the principles of educational science,enhance audience awareness,and upgrade the richness of Chinese medicine cultural education thinking;Third,to draw up scientific and reasonable evaluation standards to correctly measure the value of Chinese medicine cultural education,and to increase publicity efforts to create a brand of Chinese medicine cultural education and fully demonstrate the effectiveness of Chinese medicine cultural education.
