To Observe The Clinical Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Enema In The Treatment Of Active Large Intestine Damp Heat Ulcerative Colitis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect and safety of TCM enema in treating UC,Professor Mao analysis Mechanism of TCM enema therapy for active large intestine damp-heat ulcerative colitis based on permeatorization theory.To provide theoretical basis for the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of active large intestine damp-heat ulcerative colitis.Methods: A total of 68 cases of ulcerative colitis with damp-heat type of large intestine were selected,and the sample size was calculated by PASS software.The patients were randomly dividedinto observation group(TCM enema combined with mesalazine nsuppository)and control group(mesalazine suppository)with 34 cases each according to random number table method.The patient could be discharged after 2 weeks of treatment for 1 course of treatment and 6 consecutive courses of treatment.Comprehensive efficacy evaluation,TCM symptom score quantization evaluation,modified Mayo disease activity score,Baron endoscopy score,inflammation-related indicators(ESR,C-reactive protein),inflammatory factors(interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-10(IL-10)),and drug safety of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and recorded The clinical efficacy of different treatment schemes was observed and evaluated,and statistical analysis was performed.Results:(1)After treatment,the comprehensive curative effect: the total effective rate of the observation group was 94.11%,and the total effective rate of the control group was73.53%.The curative effect of the observation group was better than the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)Quantitative evaluation of TCM symptom score,modified Mayo disease activity score and Baron endoscopy score after treatment showed that the observation group was significantly better than the control group,with statistical significant(P < 0.05).(3)The levels of ESR,CRP and IL-6 after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and IL-10 was significantly higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05),with statistical significance between and within the two groups after treatment.(4)No damage of liver and kidney function was observed in both groups after treatment.Conclusion: TCM enema combined with Mesala Qinsupposal based on thotophthora theory can effectively improve TCM syndromes,reduce disease activity scores,improve intestinal mucosal damage,reduce inflammation level index,and delay the progression of disease activity.
