| Objective:To study the clinical effect of Xuduanzi Decoction combined with acupuncture on asthenospermia complicated with CP/CPPS.The changes of sperm forward movement,total vitality and TCM clinical symptoms before and after treatment were observed,and the clinical effect was observed to provide scientific basis for clinical practice.Methods: From October 2021 to September 2022,60 patients diagnosed as asthenospermia(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type)and chronic prostatitis were selected from the male outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Then they were divided into two groups according to the randomized control method.The treatment and control groups were divided into 30 cases,and the control group was given: oral L-carnitine oral liquid;Treatment group was given: oral discontinuous seed formula combined with acupuncture,200 ml of traditional Chinese medicine twice a day,warm administration after breakfast and dinner for 12 weeks,combined with acupuncture warm acupuncture points such as Guanyuan,Zhongji,Sanyinjiao,Xuehai,Zhongwan,a total duration of 30 minutes of treatment each time.During the period of needle retention,acupuncture was performed once every10 minutes,once a day,for 12 weeks.The spousal pregnancy of the patients during treatment was observed,and the forward semen movement,total sperm motility,clinical symptom score and NIH-CPSI scale of the subjects were compared before and after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:(1)Clinical efficacy evaluation: After 12 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of asthenospermia was 82.7% in the treatment group and 75.0%in the control group.The effective rate of asthenospermia was compared between the two groups(P<0.05).There was a statistical difference between the two groups.The effective rate of chronic prostatitis was 86.2% in the treatment group and 53.6% in the control group.The total effective rate of the two groups was compared(P<0.01).The curative effect of the two groups was statistically different,suggesting that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)TCM clinical efficacy evaluation: After 12 weeks of treatment,TCM symptom score of patients in the treatment group was significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and there was a statistical difference before and after treatment,while TCM symptom of patients in the control group was slightly improved;Compared with the control group,P<0.01,indicating that the improvement of TCM symptom score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the comparison between the two groups showed a statistical difference.(3)After 12 weeks of treatment,compared with before treatment,the number of forward motile sperm increased in both the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05),indicating a statistical difference;Intra-group comparison of forward motile sperm group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the therapeutic effect of forward motile sperm group was better than the control group.Compared with the total sperm motility of the two groups before treatment,the total sperm motility of the treatment group and the control group was increased(P<0.05),showing a statistical difference;The total sperm motility of the treatment group and the control group was statistically different(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of total sperm motilityConclusion(s):1.The combination of Xuduanzi Decoction and acupuncture can improve forward motility sperm and total sperm motility in patients with asthenospermia complicated with CP/CPPS.2.Xuduanzi Decoction combined with acupuncture has a certain effect on reducing the score of patients’ Prostatitis Scale(NIH-CPSI)and clinical symptoms of patients with asthenospermia of kidney deficiency and blood stasis combined with prostatitis. |
