Clinical Observation Of Qingre Huodan Decoction In Treating Children With Non-severe Viral Community Acquired Pneumonia(Phlegm-heat Closing Lung Syndrome)

Objective:To make observation on the improvement of clinical symptomsof Qingre HuotanDecoction,after 7 days of treatment,in treatingchildrenwith non-severe pneumoniaviral Community Acquired Pneumonia(Phlegm heat closed lung syndrome,Pneumonia Asthma),the clinical curative effect of Qingre Huotan decoctionon such diseases was evaluated.Methods:60 cases meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in the observation group and 30 cases in the control group.The cases ofcontrol group was treated with conventional symptomatic Western medicine,and the cases of observation group was treated with Qingre HoutanDecoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical conditions of the two groups of children were summarized and compared after 7 days of treatment.And SPSS statistical software was used to process data to evaluate the efficacy of the two treatment methods.Results:After 7 days of treatment,both groups could improve the symptoms of patients and reduce the manifestations of TCM syndromes.However,the therapy of the observation group was more eutherapeutic than that of the control group in the overall clinical efficacy,improvement of main symptoms and the manifestations of TCM syndromes,and differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Antiasthmatic,antipyretic and expectorant effects of the observation group were superior to those of the control group,and differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The cough relieving and lung rales improving of the observation group were similar to those of the control group and differences were not statistically significant P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the therapeutic effect of disappearance time of asthma,rales and fever of the the observation group was significantly shortened,and differences were statistically significant P<0.05).Conclusion:Qingre Huotan Decoction has definite clinical efficacy in the treatment of children with non-severe viral community-acquired pneumonia(phlegm-heat closed lung syndrome caused by pneumonia and cough),especially in reducing the symptoms of children’s wheezing,phlegm stagnation and fever.So it has the value of further study and is worth popularizing in clinic.
