Objective: The clinical efficacy of "Gujin Luyan" Xuming Decoction in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)in the elderly and the improvement of serology before and after treatment were studied, and the clinical advantages of "Gujin Luyan"Xuming Decoction in the treatment of sputum drinking and qi and blood deficiency in the acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were studied,so as to provide a theoretical basis for its future clinical application. Methods: The 70 patients from the inpatient department of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine affiliated to Ruikang Hospital affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 35 cases each. The control group was treated with Western medicine, oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, antibiotics, expectorants, etc. The observation group was treated with "Gujin Luyan" Xuming Decoction on the basis of the control group; After 10 days of treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment, the score of TCM syndrome, and the improvement of white blood cells(WBC),percentage of neutrophils(NEUT%),neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),serum amyloid A(SAA),serum procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6(IL-6)and other indexes were observed.Data is collected and collated, and finally statistically analyzed and compared.Results:1.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups: the total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the observation group(90.62%)was higher than that of the control group(78.78%),and there was a difference(P<0.05).2.Comparison of medical syndrome points among the two groups:(1)Individual TCM symptom points: the control group could improve the symptoms of shortness of breath, cough, sputum production, chest tightness, fatigue, dizziness and other symptoms(P<0.05),and improve the symptoms of dry mouth and lack of desire to drink(P>0.05),and the observation group improved wheezing, shortness of breath, cough, sputum production, chest tightness, fatigue, dizziness, dry mouth and other symptoms than the control group(P<0.05).(2)Total TCM syndrome score: The TCM syndrome score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the TCM syndrome score in the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of serological inflammatory indexes between the two groups:after treatment, the levels of WBC,NEUT%,NLR,CRP,IL-6,SAA,PCT and ESR in the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of WBC,NEUT%,NLR,CRP,IL-6,SAA,and PCT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in ESR between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).4.Analysis of safety indicators: During the trial of this project, there were no obvious abnormalities in body temperature, breathing, pulse, blood pressure, three major routines, liver and kidney function, blood gas analysis, electrocardiogram, etc.in the two groups, and no adverse drug reactions occurred.Conclusion(s):1."Gujin Luyan" Xuming Decoction continued soup combined with conventional western medicine therapy to treat the elderly AECOPD sputum drink and qi and blood deficiency syndrome in clinical efficacy,Chinese medicine syndrome total integral certificate are improved, and the improvement degree is better than conventional western medicine treatment.2.The combination with Western medicine was better than simple western medicine treatment in improving the level of WBC,NEUT%,NLR,CRP,IL-6,SAA,PCT,and ESR in patients with AECOPD sputum, drink and qi and blood deficiency.
