Effect Of Wuchongtongluo Capsule On Ischemic Stroke(Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type)in Type 2 Diabetes Patients

Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of Wuchongtongluo capsule,a hospital preparation prepared by the tutor,in treating type 2 diabetes patients with ischemic stroke(type of qi deficiency and blood stasis).Methods: From October 2020 to December 2022,98 patients with ischemic stroke(qi deficiency and blood stasis type)complicated with type 2 diabetes were collected and randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group was treated with routine western medicine,while the observation group was treated with routine western medicine plus Wuchong Tongluo capsule.The course of treatment lasted for 4 weeks.The clinical symptoms,TCM syndrome score,NIHSS score,activity of daily living(ADL)and blood Hcy and hs-CRP levels were recorded before and after treatment.Finally,the indexes of each group were statistically analyzed.Results: The improvement effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group in TCM syndrome score,NIHSS score,activity of daily living(ADL)and blood Hcy and hs-CRP levels,and there were no obvious abnormal changes in the safety indexes of the two groups during the medication.Wuchong Tongluo Capsule has good curative effect and high safety on ischemic stroke(qi deficiency and blood stasis type)in patients with type 2 diabetes.Conclusion: Wuchong Tongluo Capsule can effectively improve the neurological function,activities of daily living,blood Hcy and hs-CRP indexes of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have ischemic stroke(qi deficiency and blood stasis type),with remarkable clinical efficacy and high safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
