Clinical Observation Of Ziyin Yuying Decoction Combined With Methimazole In Treating Hyperthyroidism Of Yin Deficiency And Fire Hyperactivity

Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of Ziyin Yuying Decoction combined with methimazole in the treatment of hyperthyroidism of yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity type,to evaluate its effectiveness and safety,and to summarize the tutor’s clinical thinking and prescription medication rules in the treatment of hyperthyroidism of yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity type by combining traditional Chinese and western medicine during the research process,so as to provide a reliable therapeutic plan for the treatment of hyperthyroidism by combining traditional and western medicine,At the sametime,it also provides a certain clinical trial basis and data support for the next development of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations,with a view to promoting its application in the future.Methods:This study is a prospective study.The control group and the observation group are preset,with 30 cases in each group.Patients with hyperthyroidism who met the inclusion criteria were included in the two groups according to the random number table method.Among them,the control group was given methimazole,and the observation group was given Ziyin Yuying Decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for two consecutive courses of treatment,one for four weeks.The changes of thyroid function indexes(FT3,FT4,TSH,Tg Ab,TPOAb),TCM syndrome score,adverse reactions and other safety indexes were observed before and after treatment.Finally,the relevant data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0 software to clarify its effectiveness and safety.Results:(1)The baseline data(age,sex,course of disease,etc.)of the two groups were compared,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which was balanced and comparable.(2)Comparison before treatment: The two groups of patients were compared in terms of thyroid function index(TSH,FT3,FT4,Tg Ab,TPOAb),liver function(ALT),white blood cell count,total score of TCM syndrome and single score,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which was balanced and comparable.(3)Comparison before and after treatment: Except for the TPOAb level of patients in the two groups and the eye performance score of the control group(P>0.05),there were statistical differences in other thyroid function indicators,single score of TCM syndromes and total score between the before and after treatment(P<0.05).(4)Comparison after treatment: there was statistical difference between the two groups in thyroid function index(except TPOAb)and total score of TCM syndrome after treatment(P<0.05);Comparison of single score: there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the syndrome score of goiter,eye performance,irritability,overeating and hand tremor after treatment(P>0.05);The scores of other syndromes were statistically different(P<0.05),among which the scores of heat aversion,hyperhidrosis,thirst and fatigue were significantly different(P<0.01);The total effective rate of the final observation group was 93.3%,and that of the control group was 63.3%,with a statistical difference(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of safety: no obvious adverse reactions occurred in the observation group,while there were relatively many adverse reactions in the control group,specifically 6 cases of abnormal liver function,3 cases of leukopenia,5 cases of gastrointestinal reactions and 1 case of rash.The total incidence of adverse reactions was 30% with cases of duplication were removed.There was significant statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was no obvious abnormality in the monitoring of other safety indicators.Conclusion: Ziyin Yuying Decoction combined with methimazole has a more significant effect on hyperthyroidism of yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity than that of methimazole alone.It can not only more effectively correct the thyroid function index,reduce the level of Tg Ab to regulate immunity,but also significantly improve the related symptoms,especially in the improvement of nausea,sweating,thirst and fatigue,and has no obvious adverse reactions,avoiding the side effects of methimazole to a certain extent,It ensures the safety of simple western medicine treatment.
