Correlation Between Hospital Care Atmosphere Perception And Humanistic Care Ability Of Nursing Undergraduate Interns At A University In Inner Mongolia

Objective:This study aims to explore the current situation of undergraduate nursing intern’s perception of hospital care atmosphere and humanistic care ability,to analyze the differences in the perception of hospital care atmosphere and humanistic care ability of undergraduate nursing interns in general condition,to dissect the relationship between perception of hospital care atmosphere and humanistic care ability,and to explore the factors affecting the humanistic care ability of undergraduate nursing interns.Methods:In this study,521 nursing undergraduates who were clinical interns at a university in Inner Mongolia were selected as the survey objects with the convenient sampling method,and a questionnaire survey was conducted by using the general situation questionnaire,the perception scale of clinical interns on hospital care atmosphere,and the humanistic care ability scale of nursing college students.Meanwhile,status analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis,and multiple linear regression analysis were carried out by using SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:1.The perception score of nursing undergraduate interns on hospital care atmosphere was(4.40 ± 0.70).There were statistically significant differences in the scores of hospital care atmosphere perception in family care,clinical teacher care,school care atmosphere,reasons for studying nursing,and employment intention(P<0.05).2.The total score of humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduate interns was(70.90 ±9.81),with a scoring rate of 70.90%.There were statistically significant differences in the total score of humanistic care ability in terms of whether the only child,political outlook,family care,clinical teachers’ care,school care atmosphere,reasons for studying nursing,and employment intention(P<0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the perception score of the hospital care atmosphere of nursing undergraduate interns was positively correlated with the total score of humanistic care ability(r=0.505,P<0.01).4.Multiple regression analysis showed that the perception of hospital care atmosphere,family care,school care atmosphere,political outlook,and employment intention had a predictive effect on the humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduate interns.The above variables together explained 31.4% of the dependent variable humanistic care ability(F=14.975,P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The total score of humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduate interns is at a medium level.2.The better the nursing undergraduate interns perceive the hospital care atmosphere,the stronger their humanistic care ability may be.3.The perception of hospital care atmosphere,family care,school care atmosphere,political outlook,and employment intention are the main influencing factors of nursing undergraduate interns’ humanistic care ability.
