Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding method in treating functional constipation of qi stagnation type, analyze and compare the clinical efficacy difference between acupoint catgut embedding method and conventional acupuncture method in treating functional constipation of qi stagnation type from the aspects of the number of completely spontaneous defecation,Bristol stool characteristics,TCM syndromes and PAC-QOL,and explore its unique advantages,so as to provide safe and effective methods and objective basis for clinical treatment of this disease, with a view to better clinical promotion. Methods:Select 60 patients with functional constipation of Qi stagnation type, and randomly divide them into treatment group and control group, with 30 patients in each group. In both groups, acupoints were taken on both sides of Tianshu(ST25),Dachangshu(BL25),Shangjuxu(ST37),Zhigou(TE6),Taichong(LR3)and Zhongwan(CV12).The treatment group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding once a week, four times for a course of treatment, and one course of treatment. The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture once a day for 5 consecutive days, with 2 days of rest and 4 weeks as a course of treatment. After a course of treatment, the number of complete spontaneous defecation(CSBMs),Bristol stool trait score,TCM syndrome score, and quality of life score(PAC-QOL)of constipation patients in the two groups were statistically analyzed and compared before and after treatment, and the efficacy was evaluated.Result:1.After treatment, the intra-group comparison showed that the CSBMs scores of patients in the two groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),with statistical significance. The score of CSBMs in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance between.groups.2.After treatment, the intra-group comparison showed that the Bristol scores of patients in the two groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),with statistical significance. The score of Bristol in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance between groups.3.After the treatment, the intra-group comparison showed that the total score of TCM syndrome in the two groups was significantly lower than that before(P<0.05),with statistical significance. The main symptom score of constipation in both groups was significantly lower than that before(P<0.05),with statistical significance. The subsymptom score of patients in the two groups was significantly lower than that before(P<0.05),with statistical significance.Inter-group comparison shows that the total score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance between groups. The main symptom score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance. In the treatment group, the scores of bowing, sagittal qi,chest and flank fullness and belching frequency were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance between groups. There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in aggravating the score of emotional distress(P>0.05).4.After treatment, the intra-group comparison showed that the PACQOL scores of patients in the two groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),with statistical significance. The score of PAC-QOL in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance.between groups.5.After treatment,in terms of clinical efficacy, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.9%,and that of the control group was 85.7%(P>0.05),with no statistical significance between the groups.Conclusion:1.Both acupoint catgut embedding and routine acupuncture can effectively reduce the CSBMs,TCM syndromes and PAC-QOL scores of patients with functional constipation due to qi stagnation, and improve Bristol stool trait scores.2.The acupoint catgut embedding method is significantly superior to the conventional acupuncture group in improving the main clinical symptoms and secondary clinical symptoms of constipation patients in terms of the bowel ringing, sagittal qi,chest and flank fullness and belching frequency. And the long-term effect is better, and the clinical recurrence rate is lower. |
