| Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect difference between abdominal acupuncture "Yinqi Guiyuan" catgut-embedding therapy and lactulose oral liquid in treating senile functional constipation of Qi deficiency type,so as to provide clinical basis for the abdominal acupuncture "Yinqi Guiyuan" catgut-embedding therapy in treating constipation. Methods: Randomly divide the elderly functional constipation patients with Qi deficiency type collected from the outpatient department into a treatment group and a control group, each with 39 cases. The treatment group was treated with abdominal acupuncture "Yinqi Guiyuan" catgut-embedding therapy, once a week for 4 weeks;the control group was treated with lactulose oral liquid,15 m L/time,twice a day, before meals, for 4 weeks; Before and after treatment, observe the changes in the main clinical symptom scores,Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale scores, and PAC-QOL scale scores of the subjects with constipation.Follow up for 4 weeks after treatment and record the Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale scores.Analyze and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of abdominal acupuncture "Yinqi Guiyuan" catgut-embedding therapy for treating elderly functional constipation with Qi deficiency.Result:The main clinical symptom score of constipation: After 4 weeks of treatment, the total score of this item decreased in both groups compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group decreased significantly compared with the control group(P<0.05);after treatment, the score of each clinical symptom decreased in both groups compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),among which the scores of difficult defecation, defecation time and bloating decreased significantly in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05),and the scores of stool texture and The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).TCM syndrome score: After 4 weeks of treatment, the total scores of this item decreased in both groups compared to the pre-treatment period(P<0.05),and the treatment group had a significant decrease compared to the control group(P<0.05);the scores of symptoms such as weakness in defecation, dry stool, hidden abdominal pain, incompletion after defecation, weakness and laziness, and loss of appetite decreased in the treatment group compared to the pre-treatment period(P<0.05),while the scores of symptoms in the control group decreased compared to the pre-treatment period(P<0.05),except for the symptoms of weakness and laziness. After treatment, the scores of weakness in defecation, abdominal pain, incomplete stool, weakness and lazy speech, and loss of appetite were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the scores of dry stool(P>0.05).PAC-QOL scale scores: After 4 weeks of treatment, the total score of this item decreased in both groups compared to the pre-treatment period(P<0.05),and the score of the treatment group decreased significantly compared to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall efficacy and safety comparison: the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 91.89% and 78.95% respectively, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the recurrence rate of the two groups was 11.76% and 50.00%respectively at the follow-up at week 4 after the end of treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);no adverse reactions were observed in the treatment group, the rate of adverse reactions in the control group was 10.53% in the treatment group and10.53% in the control group, with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of abdominal acupuncture "Yinqi Guiyuan" catgut-embedding therapy is better than that of lactulose oral solution in treating functional constipation of the elderly with Qi deficiency, and has good long-term efficacy and safety. The abdominal acupuncture "Yinqi Guiyuan" catgut-embedding therapy is better than lactulose oral solution in improving the main clinical symptoms,Chinese medicine symptoms and quality of life of elderly patients with functional constipation due to Qi deficiency. |
