Electro Acupuncture Combined With Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy On Clinical Observation Of Simple Obesity Of Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Stagnation Type

With the progress of society and the change of life style, obesity has become a serious problem in the world. Therefore, there is an urgent need for obesity treatment. Acupuncture weight loss effect is exact, no side effects, and now has been widely used in clinical, As a new acupuncture point catgut embedding, has attracted more and more attention.Objective:the subject of acupuncture combined with the clinical curative effect of catgut implantation at acupoint and acupuncture two different regimen in the treatment of spleen deficiency and dampness karyotype of simple obesity was evaluated. To clarify its safety, action mechanism and its advantages in the treatment of simple obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness type simple obesity.Methods:This study selected Zhenjiang Fourth People's Hospital, Department of acupuncture and moxibustion clinic conforms to the diagnosis standard of spleen wet resistance type of simple obesity patients 60 cases, using a simple random method according to 1:1 randomized into treatment group (electroacupuncture combined with Catgut Implantation at acupoint group) and control group (acupuncture group), each group of 30 cases. Treatment group were treated with electroacupuncture combined with Catgut Implantation at acupoint, acupuncture, acupoint catgut embedding needle and catgut embedding after the fourth day to acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture once a day, five times a week, two days a week two acupoint catgut embedding. The control group only received electroacupuncture treatment. Once a day, five times a week, rest for two days. Statistical treatment effect after six weeks.Result:1 In the treatment group,5 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 90%. Electro acupuncture group after treatment,5 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 73.33%. The difference of curative effect between the two groups was significant (P<0.05).2. After treatment, the two groups of patients with body weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, body mass index (BMI) values were compared with those before treatment decreased, between the two groups is significant difference (P< 0.05)Conclusion:electro acupuncture combined with acupoint catgut embedding for treatment of simple obesity of spleen dampness type is better than that of simple acupuncture treatment.
