Background & Objective: The psychosocial health of cancer patients is an important part of their health management,and the early warning and intervention of suicide need to be paid full attention.This study investigated the effect of adverse childhood experience(ACE)on suicidal ideation and its mechanism in cancer patients,and analyzed whether sleep quality,depressive symptoms and stigma played mediating roles.Methods: 411 cancer patients were investigated by convenience sampling.The contents of the survey included demographic and sociological information,disease situation,ACE,sleep quality,depressive symptoms,stigma and suicidal ideation.Single factor independent sample t-test,single factor analysis of variance and multiple linear regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of suicidal ideation.Correlation analysis,path analysis and mediation effect test were used to explore the mechanism of ACE on suicidal ideation.Results: 1.In terms of demographic sociology and disease situation,age,gender,family address(urban and rural),family per capita income and family relationship were the influencing factors of suicidal ideation.2.In terms of psychological indicators,sleep quality,depressive symptoms and stigma were the influencing factors of suicidal ideation.3.In terms of the influence mechanism of ACE on suicidal ideation,ACE not only directly affected suicidal ideation,but also affected suicidal ideation by affecting sleep quality,depressive symptoms and stigma.This indicated that sleep quality,depressive symptoms and stigma played mediating roles in the effect of ACE on suicidal ideation.In addition,depressive symptoms and sleep quality played chain mediating roles in the effect of ACE on suicidal ideation,and depressive symptoms and shame played chain mediating roles in the effect of ACE on suicidal ideation.Conclusion: For cancer patients,ACE directly affected suicidal ideation,and indirectly affected suicidal ideation by affecting sleep quality,depressive symptoms and stigma,which provided a new perspective for psychosocial intervention.Medical practitioners should give patients full humanistic care in clinical practice and carry out targeted and individualized psychotherapy such as dignity therapy,so as to promote their health comprehensively. |
