Clinical Observation Of Kuijiefang Ⅰ Combined With Mesalazine In The Treatment Of Uc With Intestinal Dampness-heat Pattern

Objective: T o observe the clinical efficacy of Kuijiefang Ⅰ combined with Mesalazine in the treatment of active UC of intestinal dampness-heat pattern,and to find a safe and efficient treatment scheme of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine for UC.Methods: 72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were included in the study plan and randomly divided into 3 groups with 24 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with Kui Jie fang I combined with M esalazine;The control group 1 was treated with Kui Jiefang I,and the control group 2 was treated with Mesalazine orally.The treatment period was 4 weeks.The scores of TCM symptoms,syndromes,laboratory indexes(CRP,PLT,hs-CRP),Mucosal performance and Baron score under colonoscopy,modified Mayo score,and quality of life score(IBDQ score)were recorded at the beginning and end of treatment in the three groups.The data were statistically analyzed to evaluate the therapeutic effect of different treatment schemes,the degree of mucosal healing under enteroscopy and the changes of quality of life.Results: T here was no significant difference in age,sex,course of disease and other general data among the three groups(P > 0.05),but there were significant differences in TCM symptoms,symptom score,modified Mayo activity index,endoscopic Baron score,CRP,hs-CRP,PLT,quality of life IBDQ scale score and total effective rate among the three groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05).After comparison and analysis between groups,the improvement of various indexes in the treatment group was significantly superior to that in control group 1 and control group 2 after treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment,the main symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine(abdominal pain,diarrhea,pus and blood stool,tenesmus),syndrome efficacy,intestinal symptoms in IBDQ and improvement of systemic symptoms in control group 1 were superior to those in control group 2(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Kuijiefang Ⅰ combined with mesalazine was effective in improving clinical symptoms,reducing intestinal inflammation and promoting colonic mucosal healing in patients with UC,and can improve the quality of life of patients,which was significantly better than that of mesalazine or Kuijiefang Ⅰ.Its curative effect was exact and worthy of promotion2.Kuijiefang Ⅰ was superior to mesalazine in improving the main symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine and quality of life.
