Objective:To analyze the clinical data of patients, explore the clinical characteristics of cryptogenic cirrhosis in recent years, and provide ideas and basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment and further clarification of etiology. Methods:In this study, retrospective epidemiological methods were used to collect the clinical data of cryptogenic liver cirrhosis patients hospitalized in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2021,which mainly included:gender, age, height, weight, symptoms, signs and laboratory tests:blood routine, biochemical indicators,alpha-fetoprotein,hepatitis virus antigen antibody, blood coagulation examination and imaging examination, etc.Enter the Excel table, and use SPSS26.0 statistical software to statistically describe and analyze the age distribution, gender distribution and course distribution of patients with cryptogenic cirrhosis, and analyze the related factors of clinical characteristics of CC patients with Logistics regression, and draw relevant conclusions.Results:1.A total of 43 patients with CC were included in this study,in which the age distribution of patients ranged from 31 to 84 years old, with 50 to 69 being the most common, with an average age of(58.12 13.42)years old. There are 17 males, accounting for 39.5%,and 26 females, accounting for 60.5%,with a male-female ratio of 1:1.53.BMI<23kg/m~217 cases, accounting for 39.5%,BMI≥23kg/m~226 cases, accounting for 60.5%.The distribution of the course of disease was<March 23 cases, accounting for 53.5%,March to 1 year 7 cases, accounting for 16.3%,≥1 year 13cases,accounting for 30.2%.Distribution of hospitalization days:<7 days in 3 cases, accounting for 7.0%,7 to 14 days in 32.5%,≥14 cases, accounting for 60.5%.2.Among the 43 patients with CC,ascites, splenomegaly and abdominal distension are the most common manifestations, with 29 cases accounting for 67.4%,20 cases accounting for 46.5%,17 cases accounting for 40.0%,14 cases of fatigue accounting for 32.6%,9 cases of anorexia accounting for 20.9%,9 cases of edema of both lower limbs accounting for 20.9%,and 4 cases of skin and sclera yellow staining accounting for 9.3%.3.Forty-three patients with CC were divided into two groups. The patients in the CC group without metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)were mainly between 50 and 69 years old,and most of the patients in the CC group with MAFLD were over 70 years old.The course of disease in both groups was mostly less than 3months,accounting for about 50%,and the average hospital stay was about 17 days.Abdominal distension, yellow staining of skin and sclera, ascites and complications were more common in the CC group without MAFLD than in the CC group with MAFLD,while fatigue, anorexia, edema of both lower limbs and splenomegaly were more common in the CC group with MAFLD.The results of univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the average level of BMI,the incidence of ALT,hypertension and type 2 diabetes between the two groups. The results of further multivariate analysis showed that hypertension and type 2 diabetes were independent risk factors for CC complicated with MAFLD,with OR values of0.078(95%CI:0.010-0.591)and 0.111(95%CI:0.014-0.881)respectively.Conclusion:1.The analysis of clinical data of 43 patients with CC included in this study shows that the onset age of CC patients is mostly between 50 and 60 years old,and most of them are women, with high BMI,short course of disease and long hospital stay.2.The first clinical manifestations of CC patients were ascites, splenomegaly and abdominal distension, accounting for 67.4%,46.5%and 40.0%respectively,while others were fatigue, anorexia and edema of lower limbs.3.Compared with CC patients with MAFLD,CC patients without MAFLD have younger age and lower average body mass index.Type 2 diabetes and hypertension are risk factors for CC patients with MAFLD.4.The clinical characteristics of CC patients with MAFLD are obviously different from those without MAFLD,which further illustrates the necessity of excluding MAFLD from CC.
