Objective:To Observe Clinical Efficacy of Acupuncture Method of Dong Yuan in Treating Moderate and Severe Persistent Allergic Rhinitis of Deficiency of Lung and Spleen Qi.Methods:From January 2021 to December 2021,66 patients with moderate-to-severe persistent allergic rhinitis of the lung-qi deficiency type who were treated in the acupuncture and moxibustion department and otolaryngology department of Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected. They were divided into observation group and control group by simple randomization, with 33 cases in each group.Acupuncture point selection: Zusanli,Hegu,Yingxiang,Yintang,Taiyuan,Taibai,Qihai. The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture, while the experimental group was treated with Dongyuan acupuncture,3 times a week,2 weeks as a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment. Before and after treatment, the differences in clinical results such as total rhinitis symptom score(TNSS)and laboratory indexes interleukin content(IFN-γ,IL-4)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Finally,SPSS 26.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis of the collected two groups of data.Results:1.TNSS analysis: TNSS decreased in both groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the test group decreased significantly compared with the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Analysis of serum IFN-γ content: IFN-γ increased in both groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the test group increased significantly compared with the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Analysis of serum IL-4 content: The IL-4 content decreased in both groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the test group decreased significantly compared with the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Analysis of Th1/Th2 values: The Th1/Th2 values increased in both groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the test group increased significantly compared with the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Clinical efficacy analysis: The total clinical efficiency of the treatment group was 93.75%with Dong Yuan acupuncture, and the total clinical efficiency of the control group was70.96% with conventional acupuncture, and the total efficiency of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The clinical efficacy of Dong Yuan acupuncture method on moderate to severe persistent allergic rhinitis of lung and spleen qi deficiency type is better than conventional acupuncture, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of AR patients, and its mechanism of action may be related to the upregulation of serum IFN-γ level and downregulation of serum IL-4 level in patients, thus regulating the Th1/Th2 immune balance, which is worthy of further study and clinical promotion and application.
