| PurposeThis study compared the ocular surface repair after pterygium resection excision by using the two treatment schemes of chufeng yisun decoction combined with 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops and 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops alone,to investigate the effect of whether chufeng yisun decoction has synergistic effect on the repair of ocular surface after pterygium resection,opening up new ideas for the repair and treatment of ocular surface after pterygium resection,speeding up the process of ocular surface repair,and to provide a basis for it.MethodPatients who were diagnosed as pterygium at the ophthalmology department of the people’s Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of traditional Chinese medicine from January2021 to October 2021 were collected.There were 60 cases(60 eyes).According to the order of treatment,the patients were divided into treatment group(30 cases and 30 eyes)and control group(30 cases and 30 eyes)by the random number table method.After the subjects in both groups were enrolled,they were treated with"pterygium excision combined with free autologous conjunctival transplantation".The treatment group began to take orally the addition and subtraction Decoction of chufeng yisun Decoction from the 1st day after operation,and took it continuously for 30 days.At the same time,the eyes of the operation group were given 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops TID for 30 days.The control group was given 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops for TID the 1st day after operation for 30 days.The thickness of grafts,the degree of redness at the graft site,the NIBUTF,NIBUIAV and the evaluation of corneal epithelial repair were examined on the 1st,10th and 30th day after operation.The NIBUTF and NIBUIAV were examined on the 10th and 30th day after operation.The scores of ocular symptom were filled in on the 1st day and 30th days after operation.SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used to process the clinical data,and P<0.05 was statistically significant.Result1.Comparison of general conditions between the two groups:There was no significant difference in degree of corneal invasion,degree of ocular redness,age and gender between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Comparison of indexes on the 1st day after operation between the two groups:There were no significant differences in graft thickness,degree of ocular redness,the area of the corneal epithelial defect,the scores of ocular symptom between the control group and the treatment group on the first day after operation(P>0.05).3.Comparison of different time after operation between the two groups:The thickness of grafts in the two groups decreased significantly with the extension of postoperative time(P<0.05);There was significant difference in the thickness of grafts between the two groups(P<0.05);The interaction between postoperative treatment plan and treatment time in the two groups had a statistically significant effect on the decrease of graft thickness(P<0.05).With the extension of time,the thickness of graft in the treatment group showed a downward trend compared with that in the control group.The thickness of membrane graft in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group on the 10th and 30th day after operation(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the degree of redness,NIBUTFand NIBUIAVbetween the two groups at different times after operation(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the degree of redness,NIBUTFand NIBUIAV between the two groups on the10th and 30th day after operation(P<0.05).The corneal epithelial repair rate and ocular symptom score on the 30th and 10th day after operation were compared between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);On the 10th and 30th day after operation,the repair rate of corneal epithelium in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);On the 30th day after operation,the score of ocular symptoms in the treatment group decreased more significantly than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Overall efficacy:There was statistically significant difference in overall efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 90.00%,indicating that the overall efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion1.The use of 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops alone can effectively promote the repair of ocular surface after pterygium excision combined with free autologous conjunctival autograft,which is mainly manifested in the resolution of graft edema and ocular redness,the prolongation of breakup time of epithelium,the repair of corneal epithelial defect and the improvement of symptoms such as ocular pain,foreign body sensation and burning sensation.2.Compared with the use of 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops alone,oral chufeng yisun decoction combined with 0.02%fluorometholone eye drops has a better effect on the repair of ocular surface after pterygium excision combined with free autologous conjunctival autograft,which can more effectively promote the regression of graft edema and ocular redness,the prolongation of breakup time of epithelium,the repair of corneal epithelial defect and the improvement of symptoms such as ocular pain,foreign body sensation and burning sensation.Chufeng yisun decoction can inhibit the stress and inflammatory response after pterygium excision to a certain extent,improve the symptoms of eye irritation,and promote the reconstruction of ocular surface tissue structure and damage repair faster. |
