| Objective:Under the guidance of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,by comparing the different effects of the control group with conventional treatment and the intervention group with external application of Bingxiao Powder on the circumference of the affected limb and ROM scores of the knee joint after TKA,we explored the efficacy of external application of Bingxiao Powder in the treatment of limb swelling,and provided different ideas and methods for limb swelling elimination after TKA.Methods:56 patients were divided into the intervention group(n = 28)and the control group(n = 28).The control group was treated with routine postoperative treatment,and the intervention group was treated with external application of Bingxiao Powder on the basis of routine treatment from the first day after operation.The limb circumference and ROM scores of knee joint on the 2nd,4th and 6th days after operation were observed and recorded.The total effective rate was calculated according to the clinical efficacy classification,and the statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software.Results:1.The circumference of affected limb:the circumference of affected limb in the intervention group was smaller than that in the control group on the 2nd,4th and 6th days after operation,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Knee ROM score:The knee ROM scores of the intervention group on the 2nd,4th and 6th days after operation were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Clinical efficacy classification:According to the clinical efficacy classification standard,the total effective rate of the intervention group(100%)was higher than that of the control group(89.29%).Conclusion:External application of Bingxiao Powder can effectively treat limb swelling after TKA,reduce the circumference of the affected limb caused by limb swelling,and increase the range of knee joint activity. |
