| Objective:By analyzing the distribution law and correlation of TCM constitution,TCM syndrome type and pathological type of gastric polyps patients,it provides a clinical basis for the combination of syndrome differentiation,disease differentiation and body differentiation for the prevention and treatment of this disease.Methods: For patients with gastric polyps who meet the inclusion criteria,special resident doctors shall be responsible for collecting gastroscopy and pathological examination results,and filling in the general information form truthfully,and guiding patients to fill in the TCM constitution determination form to determine the constitution type of TCM.Two experienced TCM doctors will jointly conduct the TCM dialectical classification of gastric polyps patients,and truthfully fill in the TCM identification form.The collected clinical data were analyzed by statistical software to explore the TCM constitution,TCM syndrome type,and the distribution pattern and correlation of pathological types of patients with gastric polyps.Results: 1.General data distribution:(1)A total of 150 patients with gastric polyps were included,including55 males and 95 females with a female ratio of 1:1.75;all patients were between 18 and 80 years,with an average age of 58.17 years,especially from51 to 60 and 61 to 70 years.There was no significant association between patient gender and age(P>0.05).(2)The number of gastric polyps is more common,followed by the most common,followed by the fundus,sinus and cardia;the base and stomach,followed by gastric body and sinus.(3)The morphology of gastric polyps was most frequently seen in Yamada type I,followed by the YamadaⅡ and Yamada Ⅲ,Yamada Ⅳ were not seen in this study.(4)The diameter of gastric polyps was most seen at<0.5cm,followed by0.5～1.0cm,1.1～2.0cm,and>2cm polyps were not seen in this study.2.TCM constitution distribution:(1)Among the patients with gastric polyps,the most common TCM constitution was qi stagnation,followed by damp-heat,qi-deficiency,phlegm-dampness,blood stasis,yang-deficiency,and yin-deficiency,with no peacefulness and special qualities.(2)There was a significant correlation between TCM constitution and gender(P<0.01).Damp-heat and phlegm-dampness were dominated by males,while Qi-deficiency,Qi-stagnation,blood-stasis,yang-deficiency,and yin-deficiency were all dominated by females.(3)There was no significant correlation between TCM constitution and age(P>0.05).3.Distribution of TCM syndrome types:(1)The most common TCM syndromes in patients with gastric polyps were liver-stomach disharmony syndrome,followed by phlegm-dampness syndrome,damp-heat internal accumulation syndrome,spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome,and stomach-collateral blood stasis syndrome.(2)There was a significant correlation between TCM syndrome types and gender(P<0.05).Damp-heat internal syndrome is more common in males,while liver-stomach disharmony syndrome,spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome,phlegm-dampness blocking syndrome,and blood stasis syndrome in stomach and collaterals are more common in females.(3)There was no significant correlation between TCM syndrome types and gender(P>0.05).4.Pathological type distribution:(1)The pathological types of patients with gastric polyps were fundic gland polyps > hyperplastic polyps > inflammatory polyps > adenomatous polyps.(2)There was a significant correlation between the pathological type of gastric polyps and the number of polyps(P<0.05).Fundic gland polyps and mixed polyps are more common with multiple polyps,followed by single polyps;adenomatous polyps,inflammatory polyps,and hyperplastic polyps are more common with single polyps,followed by multiple polyps.(3)There was a significant correlation between the pathological types of gastric polyps and the location of polyps(P<0.05).Fundic gland polyps are most common in gastric body,followed by gastric fundus,multiple,gastric antrum,and cardia;adenomatous polyps are most common in gastric body and gastric antrum,followed by cardia and gastric fundus;inflammatory polyps are gastric body More common,followed by cardia,gastric antrum,and multiple;hyperplastic polyps are more common in gastric body,followed by gastric fundus,multiple,gastric antrum,and cardia;mixed polyps are more common,followed by gastric body,gastric sinus.5.Correlation between TCM constitution,TCM syndrome type and pathological type:(1)The correlation between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome types:there is a significant correlation between the two(P<0.01),among which,the liver and stomach disharmony syndrome is more common with qi stagnation and damp-heat;the spleen and stomach deficiency and cold syndrome are more common with yang deficiency and qi deficiency.The damp-heat internal syndrome is more common with damp-heat and qi stagnation;the phlegm-dampness middle-resistance syndrome is more common with phlegm-dampness and qi deficiency;the stomach and collateral blood stasis syndrome is more common with blood stasis and qi stagnation.(2)Correlation between TCM constitution and pathological type: there was no significant correlation between the two(P>0.05).(3)Correlation between TCM syndrome types and pathological types: the two were significantly correlated(P<0.01),hyperplastic polyps were more common in liver-stomach disharmony syndromes;fundic gland polyps were more common in spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndromes;Fundic gland polyps are more common;phlegm-dampness obstruction syndrome is more common with fundic gland polyps;gastric collaterals blood stasis syndrome is more common with fundic gland polyps.Conclusion:TCM constitution is common in qi depression,damp heat and qi deficiency,TCM syndrome by liver and stomach incompatibility,phlegm and dampness obstruction,dampness accumulation,and gastric gland polyp;there are significant correlation between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome type,TCM syndrome type and no obvious correlation between TCM constitution and pathological type. |
