Clinical Observation Of Nape Seven Needles Acupuncture On Low Myopia In Youth

Objective : To observe the short-term clinical effect of Nape seven needles acupuncture on young low myopia.Methods : 70 patients with myopia were randomly divided into Nape seven needles acupuncture group and auricular point pressing group.The clinical efficacy was evaluated by observing the changes of uncorrected visual acuity,eye symptom score and refraction.Results : The total effective rate was 80 % in the Nape seven needles acupuncture group and 28.8% in the auricular acupressure group,with significant difference(P<0.01).After treatment,the naked eye vision and eye symptom scores in the Nape seven needles acupuncture group were significantly changed(P < 0.01),which were statistically significant compared with those in the auricular acupressure group(P < 0.05).The uncorrected visual acuity of Nape seven needles acupuncture group after 4weeks of intervention was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The ear acupoint pressing bean group after 8 weeks of intervention was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The Nape seven needles acupuncture group took effect faster.There was no significant difference in refraction between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in naked vision between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion : Both groups can improve the uncorrected visual acuity and ocular symptoms,and stabilize the existing refraction.The intervention effect of Nape seven needles acupuncture group is better than that of auricular point pressing group,and the effect is faster and more stable.However,there is no significant difference in controlling myopia refraction between Nape seven needles acupuncture group and auricular point pressing group.
