Clinical Observation Of The Nape Seven Needles Intervention In Prediabetes

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the nape seven needles on prediabetes.Methods:66 patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The observation group received the nape seven needles on the basis of lifestyle intervention,and the control group received lifestyle intervention.The changes of fasting blood glucose(FPG),2h blood glucose(2h PG)after glucose load and TCM symptom score before and after treatment were used as the evaluation criteria for clinical efficacy.The changes of glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),body mass index(BMI)and waist circumference(WC)were observed.Results:The effective rate was 90% in observation group and 60% in control group(P<0.05).The changes of FPG,2h PG and TCM symptom scores in the observation group after treatment were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in Hb A1 c,BMI and WC between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The effective rate of the observation group was 90%,indicating that the nape seven needles can effectively reduce FPG,2h PG and TCM symptom score of prediabetic patients,and improve Hb A1 c,BMI and WC to a certain extent,which has clinical promotion significance.
