Clinical Efficacy Of Interdigitated Moxibustion And Umbilical Cord Method With Conventional Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Phlegm-Damp Middle Blockage Type Ménière’s Disease

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of interdigitated moxibustion umbilical method with conventional acupuncture in the treatment of phlegm-damp middle blocked Ménière’s disease,and to provide new ideas and effective basis for the future clinical treatment of Ménière’s disease.Methods:Sixty patients with phlegm-damp middle blockage type Ménière’s disease were selected and randomly divided into treatment group(conventional acupuncture with isolated medicine moxibustion umbilical method)and control group(conventional acupuncture method),30 cases in each group.The changes in the scores of dizziness disorder scale(DHI),tinnitus disabling scale(THI),and primary and secondary symptoms of Chinese medical evidence were recorded before and after treatment for the two groups of patients,respectively,and the results were statistically analyzed.Results:1.Overall clinical efficacy of the two groups:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33% and the total effective rate of the control group was 80.00%.After statistical analysis,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.TCM Evidence Scale Score:both groups had a good improvement effect on each TCM symptom(P < 0.05).In terms of nausea and vomiting and abnormal sweating,both groups had significant efficacy,and the efficacy of both groups was basically equal.In terms of dizziness,tinnitus and deafness,tiredness and fatigue,and frequency of seizures,conventional acupuncture with spaced moxibustion umbilical method had better therapeutic effects than conventional acupuncture.3.Dizziness Impairment Inventory(DHI)score:both groups had significant therapeutic effects;the efficacy of spaced moxibustion umbilical with conventional acupuncture was better than that of the conventional acupuncture group.4.Tinnitus Disability Inventory(THI)scores: Improvement was observed in both groups,and the moxibustion of the umbilical cord with the conventional acupuncture method has a more desirable therapeutic effect.Conclusion:Moxibustion of the umbilicus with conventional acupuncture and conventional acupuncture both improve the clinical symptoms of phlegm-damp-medium blockage type of Meniere’s disease.Among them,the former has a better therapeutic effect,can effectively improve the quality of survival of patients,and both simple,safe and other advantages,worthy of clinical promotion.
