The development of rural medical service is not only related to the construction of China’s medical security system,but also related to the solution of farmers’ difficult medical problems.At the same time,rural medical services also have an important impact on the construction of a new socialist countryside and the improvement of farmers’ well-being.Therefore,the investment of relevant parties in China is increasing and relevant policies are issued,so as to promote the development of rural medical undertakings to a certain extent.In this context,the demand for quantity and quality of rural doctors is increasing,and their importance is also increasing day by day.It has become a key force in the development of rural medical undertakings.We should constantly improve their work identity,sense of honor and satisfaction,reduce their loss rate,make them devote themselves wholeheartedly and strengthen the actual work effect.In this study,taking Yiliang County,Yunnan Province as an example,this paper summarizes and analyzes the current situation of rural doctors’ professional identity,professional Embeddedness and retention intention,analyzes the correlation between rural doctors’ professional identity,professional Embeddedness and retention intention,and puts forward corresponding strategies to enhance rural doctors’ professional identity,professional Embeddedness and retention intention,Provide strong support for the development of rural medical undertakings.After research,the main conclusions are as follows:First,through the research,it is concluded that gender and education have no statistically significant impact on rural doctors’ professional identity and willingness to stay,while age,medical qualification and working years have a greater impact on rural doctors’ professional identity and willingness to stay.Second,the stronger the professional identity of rural doctors,the more professional embeddedness,the stronger their willingness to stay,and professional embeddedness has a strong mediating effect.Third,rural doctors have great needs for self-improvement,old-age security,improvement of working environment and establishment of support system,which affect their professional identity and willingness to stay.Therefore,they should strengthen investment in relevant aspects.
