Objective:To observe the early efficacy of the Closed-Kinetic-Chain Exercise Therapy on Rehabilitation of Knee Osteoarthritis.Methods:According to the standards of inclusion criteria,60 patients who had a disgnosis of KO during October 2013 to October 2014 were selected as research subjects in department of Orthopedics Ward 3 in Xiamen Hospital of TCM.The patients were randomly and equally divided into experimental group and matched group of 30 people each.When the experiment is completed,There are 30 people in the experimental group,the matched group had 30 People.Both group take the basic therapy,which including acupuncture,physiotherapy(Intermediate frequency electric pulse and Local ironing),and drug therapy.The matched group take conventional exercise therapy(Straight leg raising exercise,Static contraction exercise and Extreme flexion of knee exercises in the prone position),The experimental group take the Closed-Kinetic-Chain Exercise(Flexion of knee extension exercise downlink multi angle,Static contraction exercise and Flexion of knee exercises in the prone position downlink single angle),Compare two groups of patients before treatment,four weeks and eight weeks after treatment,WOMAC score,Evaluation of the efficacy of nimodipine in order to observe the clinical efficacy.Analyze the data using the statistical software SPSS 19.0 for windows.Results:(1)Groups of patients before and after treatment of symptoms and signs to quantify(WOMAC score)comparison:compared two groups of patients before treatment and after four weeks of treatment,the pain,joint stiffness,daily activity function score and total score were no significant difference(P>0.05),no statistical significance.compared two groups of patients before treatment and after eight weeks of treatment,the pain,joint stiffness score were not significant difference(P>0.05),no statistical significance,but the daily activity function score has difference(P<0.05),and the total score has difference(P<0.05);(2)Groups of patients before and after treatment of clinical efficacy index(Evaluation of the efficacy of nimodipine)comparison:compared two groups of patients before treatment and after four weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy index were no significant difference(P>0.05),no statistical significance,but after eight weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy index has significant difference(P<0.05);(3)Groups of patients before and after treatment of lower limb proprioception test comparison(Biodex Multi-Joint System):compared two groups of patients before treatment and after four weeks of treatment,the score has no significant difference(P>0.05),no statistical significance.compared two groups of patients before treatment and after eight weeks of treatment,the score has difference(P<0.05);there were no differences between the two groups before treatment,four and eight weeks treatment later(P>0.05).Conclusion:The Closed-Kinetic-Chain Exercise Therapy can significantly improve the daily exercise function,compared to simple basic exercises are more significant.compare the two methods with the test instrument,there has no significant difference between them before treatment,fourth weeks and eighth weeks later,perhaps the time of exercise is too short.
