Research On The Construction Of"Urban Community Governance"in People's Daily

As the basic unit of social governance,urban community is the foundation of consolidating grass-roots democracy and self-governance,and also an important point of promoting the modernization of national governance capacity.In the current process of rapid urban development,the proportion of population keeps rising,urban pressure gradually aggravates,all kinds of urban problems and contradictions sink into the community,community has become the gathering point of social governance problems.On community work,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized that "communities are small,but they are connected to thousands of families,so it is very important to do community work well." Therefore,promoting urban community governance is the "last mile" of social governance in China,which is of great strategic significance for realizing grass-roots governance,innovating democratic reform and maintaining social harmony.As a representative of the mainstream media in China,People's Daily not only plays the role of media as the ears,eyes and mouthpiece of the government,but also gets close to people's livelihood and understands people's situation,contributing its media power to disseminating and uploading information from above and below.Urban community governance is related to national governance,people's livelihood,grass-roots autonomy and residents' lives,and is a hot topic of concern to the whole society.Therefore,the study on the reports of People's Daily on urban community governance has important reference significance for other domestic media to report such related content in the future.This paper takes the relevant reports on "urban community governance" in People's Daily from 2012 to 2020 as the research samples.Through analyzing the sample content,this paper makes an in-depth exploration of the collected data according to the logic of the generation,presentation and construction of this issue.At the beginning of this paper,the author briefly summarizes the generation,presentation and construction of the issue of "urban community governance" by analyzing the overview of the issue of "urban community governance" in People's Daily.After that,related samples were studied in detail by focusing on the logical sequence of the generation,presentation and construction of the issues of "urban community governance".The generation of the topic of "urban community governance" is mainly through the discussion of the influential factors,generation process,the relationship between the generation of this topic and other topics of similar nature,as well as the changes after the generation and the framework of the topic to be built.When studying the presentation of the issue of "urban community governance" in People's Daily,this paper is divided into two aspects: intuitive presentation and deep presentation.From the four perspectives of report source,report quantity,report length and report genre,it reflects the relevant content and distinctive features of reports on urban community governance in People's Daily.The deep presentation mainly includes five aspects of report theme,report tendency,word frequency presentation,language style and report perspective,which highlights the key points and emotional tendency of the urban community governance report of People's Daily,and plays a positive role in grasping the overall context of the urban community governance report.When analyzing the construction of the topic of "urban community governance" in People's Daily,this paper focuses on the construction types,construction characteristics,construction methods and construction meanings of the topic.According to the research findings,People's Daily mainly divides the topic types into four categories: construction,life,contradiction and other categories.According to the topic types,the following characteristics are found in the construction of the media: construction issues are the focus of the report;life issues are mostly carried out from the perspective of ordinary people;contradictions and other topics are mostly hot topics of current community governance;In addition,in constructing the topic of "urban community governance",People's Daily mainly uses visual construction,discourse construction and cognitive construction,which shows the media's attention to this issue and social attention,and provides a reporting context for the construction of the topic of "urban community governance".Finally,based on the research on the topic of "urban community governance" in People's Daily and other relevant content,several relevant thoughts are drawn for other domestic media to construct the topic of "urban community governance" : the issue generation comprehensively considers the demands of community relations,and provides media power to balance the interest conflicts of community subjects;The topics clearly express the content of community governance and show humanistic concern while paying attention to the characteristics of the topics.Topic construction innovation highlights the concept of community governance,and actively constructs the new issues of urban community governance.
