A Study On The Host Role Of The Cultural Television Program

With the increasing enrichment of people's cultural life,the media environment is becoming more and more complex,and the audience's attention and interest in TV programs are gradually declining.How to stand out in the current media environment is a problem that every host must think about.We should fully understand the role attributes of the host,and grasp its characteristics under different role settings.As far as cultural TV programs are concerned,the host should fully combine with the reality of the program,better reflect the purpose of the program,and spread good program content to the audience.Ying Tianchang once divided the host's role into social role,personality role and program leading role in general theory of program host.Based on the theoretical basis of Ying Tianchang's research on the role of the host,combined with the role theory of sociology and related communication theory,the author will take the graduation work "the mark of culture" as an example to explore the role of the host of cultural TV programs.This paper is divided into five parts:the first chapter gives an overview of the cultural TV programs and the role of the host;the second chapter expounds the dominant role of the host of the cultural TV programs by using the role-playing theory in sociology,the gatekeeper theory in communication and the concept of opinion leader;the third chapter combines the author's graduation works and related works;In the fourth chapter,the author defines the social role of the host from the perspective of sociology,and discusses the social role of the host from three aspects: prescriptive role and open role,conscious role and unconscious role,utilitarian role and expressive role;In the fifth chapter,the author summarizes the role promotion strategies of cultural TV hosts from three aspects: role attribute,role conflict and role innovation.To sum up,the author intends to summarize the role shaping path of cultural TV program hosts through the research on "program leading role","personality role" and "social role" of cultural TV program hosts,and hopes to provide some thoughts and suggestions for the work practice of hosts in this field through this research.
