CCTV5 Official Weibo Coverage Of The Winter Olympics

With the application and popularization of the Internet and the "intelligentizing" of media,integration of media is accelerating and upgrading,and new media platforms have exerted a great impact on the traditional media pattern as well.The influence of new social media,represented by microblog,expands with the rapid increase of the number of netizens,and it has become one of the important sources for the audience to obtain information.Therefore,no matter what type of news report,more and more attention is paid to the application of new media and omnimedia.In this paper,by taking the official microblog of CCTV5 as the research object and typing "the winter Olympic Games" as the key word,850 microblog samples were searched,at the meanwhile,the "quantity" and "quality" of which will be analyzed by professional methods.The research and analysis can provide feasible suggestions for the report of the Beijing winter Olympic Games,which may better popularize the winter Olympic Games,increase the sports population,realize the mass communication of sportsmanship and Olympic spirit,and could also provide impetus for the building of China's sports power strategy.Through the study of the samples,we can see the optimization process of the CCTV5 in new media.The report on the winter Olympic Games in the official microblog presents the advantages of the integrated new media,forming the pattern of omnimedia for the winter Olympic Games.By enhancing interaction,arousing the enthusiasm of the audience,rich forms of Multimedia,and the characteristics of realtime visual report,the content is de-specialized and fragmentized,which is closer to the audience.However,there are still some deficiencies,such as too strong dependence on the parent media,low quality of content output,insufficiency of the topic interaction and unbalance of the coverage.In consequence,this study puts forward suggestions for the official microblog of CCTV5 to report the winter Olympic Games,such as attaching importance to news planning,reflecting the professionalism of the media,paying attention to in-depth reporting,and making fully use of the advantages of new media communication.At present,the reports on the 2022 Beijing winter Olympic Games from the official microblog of CCTV5 has been carrying out.Based on the analysis of the current reports on the Beijing winter Olympic Games,this study provides references for the 2022 Beijing winter Olympic Games.
